Did someone else noticed profile pictures disappearing from Facebook profiles?
Past days i have seen lot of profiles without profile picture but i didn't really paid attention to it until today where my gf profile pic she uploaded today disappeared too

They have been working on the facial recognition for some time now... maybe they are implementing it and finding the bugs and such.

Already though, if you post the same image too many times FB lets the Admins know that there is a possibility it is spam and flags it for the Admin to make a decision as to leave the post up or delete it.

FB keeps up with this crap trying to fuck up spammers and scammers but they end up fucking mostly regular users making facebook a less attractive platform.
I wish FB would bleed money for a little bit so the idiots in charge stopped with this nonsense.

Actually most of this is machine learned.

If you compare million of legitimate users behaviour and thousands of malicious behaviour, you can find a pattern to mark a specific action as suspicious, which facebook have done with good success lately.
It sucks, I know, it costs me too alot of money to find what exactly they are detecting, but they do a good job.

I see thousands of real users getting their ad accounts blocked with no feedback and no way to contact FB and thus having their live hood and business destroyed because they wrongfully decided to trust Facebook wouldn't be a steaming pile of shit.
So, I do not think FB has been doing too good of a job with their automation processes.

1) If you have a multiple Facebook Accounts with the same name and same profile pic also will get banned -
2) FB ad now, if you have high negative feedback and low Relevance Score will get banned also -
3) When you don't pay your FB ad on your main account, the Page will get instant disapprove if you start to run a campaign with using same Page by another FB ad account -
4) Somehow, some for reasons, even if you are doing the right way to run a campaign on FB ad, your FB ad account still have a chance to get banned also and they will need you to verified the account with gov ID or else -

Fb already has face detection technology (which they use for photo tagging) which is pretty damn good detecting similar faces. May be the fact that they are trying to use the technology for other stuffs? Who knows!!

I didn't realize this was about ad accounts, and just accounts in general. I don't like the way the handle the ads either, but this new account blockage is another story.

Well I know a lot of real people getting affected by this on accounts in general apart from ad accounts, but what I wanted to get at is that FB has real shitty support for the crap they implement.
They basically never care about the collateral damage that affects thousands and thousands.
