VPS Question

So I'm about to launch a new journey in the online marketing world - and prior to this I've been running GSA on my desktop.

My question is: Why do you need a VPS to run GSA, when you have proxies?

Is it just to be able to have your GSA run even when your computer is off? Or are there other benefits?

the vps is located in a remote place which stays on for 24/7 and running intensive programs on your pc/laptop slows it down considerably
PS. idk if gsa is cpu intesnsive or not
 
No power outages, high resources ( CPU,RAM,Memory) and its not tied to your original IP and it does have a high speed connection, probably higher than what you have at home. Depends.

Thanks for the input guys. Do you all think it's worth it? I'm on quite a tight budget at the moment

A VPS is never necessary. You can always run them on your pc. Cons are, you will have to keep your PC up and running and power outages if any will matter. Thats all. Nothing else. VPS isnt really a necessity.
 
Don't waste your money on VPS, you can buy a refurbished computer with 8gb ram and 3.4 GHz processor with $149.99, a vps with these configuration is $59.99 per month! With my home connection I can get up to 500lpm without any slow down at all.

VPS isn't that expensive man, I had a windows vps for $25,- a month but that server was in USA, you can get it cheaper in the EU.

We have no clue how much he have now, that he can spare for a VPS :)
 
VPS is always running, just setup the task and let it run

You use a VPS so you can run GSA 24/7 without worrying if your home connection will drop or if proxies stop working than you are risking your ISP of blocking your IP and your net.

Its mostly because of stability and resources that you will have with a VPS.
 
It's optional. If you want your GSA to run 24/7 then you likely need it. But if your own home computer/spare computer can do the job and withstand the whole time running for it, IMO there's no need for it. Just note that it will eat out your computer resources plus your bandwidth.
