Hi Team,

Currently i am working on real estate website and i have around 500 KW's to target for 6 cities. What techniques would you suggest so that i can improve rankings and traffic.

Good content and quality links from sites relevant to your niche will help you to improve rankings.

Hi Nikhil! Try engaging with your focus groups through high quality content and keywords relevant to those cities, in depth research of their market and top-notch SEO. Don't forget to SE optimize all the elements on your pages, not only written content but images, as well.

Also, please take a look at this thread about backlinking, you will find many useful info there: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a...my-seo-and-backlinks-cost-effectively.906566/

Good luck! Let us know if you need any more specific tips.

Basically, there are two types of backlinks: free and paid. Free backlinks include forum posting, posting on networks such as Reddit, Yahoo!Answers, posting links on free web directories and so on. And by paid backlinks I mean stuff like buying links form blogs, but the ideal version of this would be to build your own network of public sites. In other words, having a bunch of different websites that are thematically related to your main website you want to backlink to - in this case, real estate websites. Building backlinks on those additional websites saves you money and you have total control of it, as it's permanent.

You have all of those explained thoroughly in the link I posted above (here it is, in case you missed it: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a...my-seo-and-backlinks-cost-effectively.906566/ ), so feel free to browse a bit there. :)

But will forum posting and directories are still helpful? and where can i guest paid links for blog which have decent traffic, PA and DA?

Great quality articles, update your site regularly, share your articles on social medias, build quality PBN links, and outreach guest posts.

If you want to rank for several location, then should concentrate on several factors.

1. By creating separate web pages for each of your locations.
2. Create & Optimize the content based on each location (on-page elements, like optimized H1’s, page titles, localized URLs, and so on)
3. Build your presence by listing your business in all local directories.
4. Building links - Through Guest posts & PBN you can achieve better SERP result these days.

It also depends on which cities you are targeting. If you go for the keyword "Real Estate New York" then...good luck...You will need tons of quality backlinks to rank #1 page...
