Right, thing is I read a method where you actually rewrite with your voice by rewording the article, then you go back and edit it. Supposedly you can get 500 word articles done fast and then sell them online for $5-$7 per on a site called Associated Content, but this was a few years ago and now the site is gone.
Do you know where I can sell the articles and not have to worry about whether they will be accepted or not... for me in the end i'd like to write them for my own sites/SEO purposes.
But for now for fast money where can i sell these to profit say $100/day if i pump out 20 articles?
The method you have mentioned is extremely old. And it did not work very well before either. What you may not know is that when you record articles using your voice, you tend to make a lot of mistakes that needs to be heavily edited afterward. Considering that you will need to spend a lot of time reformatting the article, adding photos and stuff, you will lose more time on doing that than if you have initially written the article using your keyboard.
Selling pre-written articles is also a bad idea. There are several marketplaces that allow that but most people are not looking to purchase a pre-written article. And why would they? When I am buying content, I want a writer that will write exactly what I need and not some shitty stuff that writer found online and rewritten in 30 minutes. What is the use of such content?
Considering the competition in the writing industry and your current status/experience/set of skills, you are far from getting a quick $100 a day. Most writers on this forum are not even close to making that on a regular basis and they have been writing for years.
Sites that accept pre-written articles are strict about who they let in. Being a native writer does not guarantee you a position. They regularly turn down writers and 1 out of every 30-40 applicants get in. And that one can't be considered lucky either because he will be competing with a pool of exceptional writers who sell the same content to a low number of buyers. A waste of time, if you ask me.
I know this may sound harsh but I was thinking you would rather want to know the cold truth in the beginning rather than believing in a fairytale method that did not even work correctly years ago.
My advice:
If you are serious about getting in this industry, then be serious. Understand that it takes a lot of time to build up a portfolio of projects, that it takes time to build a client list and that fighting with competition is far from easy. Sign up on websites like Fiverr and Upwork, start your own blog as a part of your portfolio (make it something you are passionate about), approach writing companies and ask for a portion of work, approach websites and write guest posts, approach huge publications, develop relationships with editors, get published, write books for Amazon Kindle, approach different companies and ask them about handling their blog content, work on improving your skills... Only then expect to go over $100 a day.
