Bought a watch

Hi there!

I recently stumbled on an instagrampage where they gave out 100 free watches for the first people who ordered... I went to there site, selected a watch and went to the checkout. I just wanted to see if it was legit.. At the checkout the only cost were the shipping costs (wich was 5 dollars for me) ..

I got an e-mail today saying "your order is on the way" .. So this is legit? I actually thought it would be a scam but I was like fuck it let's see what the deal is so I paid the 5 dollars (with Paypal). Is there anything I need to be warned about? Is this a common practice in internet marketing? Thanks!

Yes it seems legit. You should get your watch in about 20-40 days approx. And someone probably from BHW is happy because you've bought it.

Haha that's a lot of watches you need to sell for some decent income tho.

The sad part is I know about dropshipping and I fell for it.... Oh well, got a cool watch on its way!!! ;D

I had a watch site up until about a month ago and you can build an IG account up pretty easily and get some seriously targeted visitors.

I bought it for 700.00 a little over a year ago.

Customer acquisition cost was a little over 10.00 (adwords and bing ads)... sale price was 55.00 and my cost was 5.27.

It did not do bad at all and I sold it last month for a significantly higher price than I paid to a person who lives about an hour or so from me.

At the start of the year, it was viral on Facebook with free watches, jewellery, clothing etc. Some of the ads and pages were getting shares and likes in the hundreds of thousands.

Now every Tom, Dick and Harry is doing it, so it's no longer as viral like it was.
