Implemented Stripe into one of my websites early this morning, currently only been using PP so thought it would be good to offer another payment method.

I have received 12 payments VIA Stripe today and this is the issue I'm having.

6 Completed.
6 Failed.

Can anyone explain why I'm getting so many failed payments? It doesn't really leave much info on Stripe.

It makes me think if a similar thing is actually happening with PP.

I've only had one failed payment in the months that I've used them, and they sent me an email explaining that it was fraud.

Go Into Payments, then click the ellipses next to the failed payment and click on "View Payment Details" and it should tell you what happened.

Thanks.

They are "Do not honor" "Incorrect number" and "Restricted Card".

All pretty much explain their self then but still a lot of failed payments, I guess my best bet is to contact them directly.

It could also be people testing credit cards. That happens also.

Oh right, just noticed it actually still shows the email & phone for the payment so I'll just have to use that for now to try and recover the orders.

It's just a notification you get once a client hit the pay button.. If they put wrong information then obviously the payment will not succeed and stripe will notify you with this kind of notification..

So just ignore them..

Working with stripe for a while, they're pretty strict, some legit payment were considered as fraud, but they went through.

I got everything sorted in the end and I'm still using them although I don't really want to be.

LOL they are not strict at all. You just have to create new accounts as soon as your are "paused". They take a few months to "catch" you playing their system lol.

Hey Roy! (Nice to see you, man!)

Never been paused and I am not doing anything illegal to be caught for!
When Stripe was marking some payments as suspicious - I think it was for a good reason as probably it was scam related.
Can't say they're good or bad - to me they're similar to PayPal (but paypal gives me a Business Credit Card).

I just rebill people fuckloads of money on stripe, and stripe doesn't like it so I just create more accounts.

With paypal, I wouldn't be able to rebill people so easily.

Hey dude! I'm back! :D

Can you explain a little more on rebill? PM me? I'd pay for some good info---create customer when they place an order and add a subscription to their account or something?

You are aware mentoring etc isn't allowed on here?

This is to stop you getting scammed.

Are you stealing people money? E.g: offer $1.00 service and rebill them $100.00 every 7 days without their consent until they notice it and stop the payments.

Tell us more info dude :D

Stripe lets you charge stored cards any amount.
What Roy is talking about is a fraud :)
