pressed Z for 20 times & R for 40 times - Still pressing

One of my site got suspended due to non payment, I tried making payment using my debit card, but unfortunately I couldn't able to do it.

I searched for other options & Finally paid using Bank Wire Transfer on 11th May.. Money has been debited from my bank account & transaction is successful!

I asked chat support, they told me to reply to ticket.

I replied, they told "payment has not been received"
I showed transaction reference number & solid proof of payment..
I even contacted BANK, they showed me message of amount sent

I'm following up since 2 days, but no Positive response! What to Do ?
I want my site to get Lifted from suspension by today itself.
I couldn't wait for more after paying them..

What is the Best Solution to this Problem ? Anybody had such experience with host gator ?

My experience with them before is good, but this time very Poor.

that was enough for me to skip em.

they were the first hosting I tried.
1$/first month.. time flies.

now i only work with vps+vestacp

BHW is full of threads about terrible Hostgator Support.

You should move any money sites away from them ASAP

HG is fine for noobs just starting out looking for cheap hosting or for testing stuff but not when a site is making money or has decent traffic.

Host gator support is as random as rolling a dice, sorry to hear of your experience. Best thing I ever did hosting wise was take the time to learn Linux, and switch over to cloud based vps solutions, highly recommend you do that!

i used HG in earlier days when starting didn't encounter much problem with them but the quality is what you pay at.
since then moved to bluehost, siteground and tried other such as namecheap(surprisingly quick yet cheap).
recently tried serikus hosting, awesome experience, fast support and friendly guy.

I never had issue with HG support. Used them for many years. Always experienced chat support to be on point.
Moved away from them 2 years ago. Servers are slow compared to other hosts in the same (or lower) price range.
You would be surprised to see what a few milliseconds faster load speed does for your conversions.

not too hard to find a ton more post like this one. Might be time just to make a backup copy of your site move to a new host and have them help fix the issue that you are having.

I left them and they managed to screw up 3 sites I was migrating. transferring the domains took the full 7 days and somehow in the meantime my dns settings were reset back to their own hosting.

Awful c/s.

I've had problems with their support. I upgraded a plan and never even received the upgraded service. Emailed the support. No reply till 48 hours and it was sorry for this mistake / we have heavy work load / team member in training. I've got them three, but I didn't keep it on my email to show you guys. Just past experience

Update : Contacted Chat support, said Bank Wire transfer takes min of 3 - 5 Business days, But in the article : there hasn't mentioned about the days how ?

Okay, As said 11th april paid - 12th, 13th, today sunday - ( 1 business day only completed ? I should till Tuesday - ufff! I'l Update..

I have slow speeds with them and support takes a couple days, I'm going to wait till the rest of my 3 month subscription runs out and move to an alternative, maybe bluehost?

I have no experience with HostGator, but can recommend (from my own experience) Namecheap support.

Contacted their live chat like 10 times last 3 months, always connected to an agent within a minute. Support was always helpful, twice installed SSL for me within 5 minutes of asking them, free of charge of course.
