Stuck on 2nd page and need suggestions

Hello mates, what i could do to improve ranking, i have several blog posts stucks on 2nd and 3rd page on google with more backlinks than others? The keywords that i am testing has very low traffic.

Quality of backlinks are you talking? The competitors have like 2-4 backlinks only and some of them are from the own website.
There is some authority sites that i am ok being behind they.

I am doing this tests not to get money right away its just test if i can get first page in this niche.

I had setup my own 5 websites with expired domains, i never really worked hard on them, should i do that?

Thanks guys for all replys i will try to get more links from authority blogs and sites. I am already sharing in facebook and growing IG for future. Lets see if i could see some move to page 1.

Also changing my hostgator hosting to VPS right now to improve speed on-site.

If Keywords has very low traffic, then test with few web 2.0 links as you wish - if testing fails, Go for Plan B
like wise, test with other type of links i.e PBN, guest posts authority - if testing failes, Go for Plan C or D

If testing Works, Results Driven! then Keep going with the Plan for all the other keywords & Improve your Rankings.
