Laptop with 2 network cards, 1 receiving 1 sharing to the router. From the router you broadcast the network you receive on 1 of the network cards.
In my area WiFi is free btw at airports. So don't have to buy anything .

Averaged. Sometimes I have days I stay up to 5 hours. Like a saturday I would spend lots of time around the big shoppings centers between like 11AM to 5PM and move on to the restaurant bits between 5PM en 8PM.
Monday/tuesdays are useless, unless you pick certain shopping centers, with for example a ikea. Ikea always does well, haha.
It all depends on the customer. The busier, the better.
With my earlier post I didn't mean btw I go off home, I just relocate to a better hotspot.

yes. make the html page. set it as your captive portal on the router.

Haha that's exactly from what background I come. Background in pentesting / security researching etc. OSCP, CEH and CISSP certified.
Could of easily launched a mitm attack, from what I am doing, but than I would cross a certain line which would make everything illegal. So I stay on the legal but very blackhat side of the law.

i figured as much as the usual internet marketer has no idea and doesnt care about security really. same here btw, i started in the 90's with security. btw mim attacks to inject adware/malware has also been done before, or dns poisoning to hijack ads and display your own so it still looks like google is serving them.

Yes adsense I mean. Have a few different webpages set up myself. Although this only consists about 25% of my income. Most of it consists out of earning money out of people doing a survey while being in a content locker.
It all depends on the location I park a car at. If I park it at an airport carpark, i'm not coming up with some restaurant deals, unless there is lots of restaurants ofcourse in the nearby area of the airport. You just have to put things together.

lets say you're going to set this method up at a mcdonalds.
go to offervault & search mcdonalds.
hundreds of offers & networks to chose from for a mcdonalds email submit offer.
see what network's have the offer -> apply for the network -> promote your link

Thanks OP, this is an excellent method. In my country it will be be easy to execute this because people always searching for free wifi and try everything that has the word "free".

Btw, I understand about the process but what will you need to put a landing page when users try to access your wifi network? If you can name some software or hardware, I would appreciate that.

Even with a 4 antenna router you can max cover like 30-50 meters I guess

Every router broadcasts wifi. Op said use any router which supports dd-wrt.

Likely just need that custom firmware to set up a captive portal. My router doesn't like ddwrt so I use tomato. Has captive portal setting on there.
