I got lot of Russian visitors compare to other countries. I got nearly 68.52% Russian traffic. My Adsense earning is very low. How to avoid these visitors and get improve in rankings? Is Other language visitors makes negative impact in SEO? Thanks.

Russian traffic won't harm or get your site down. But if you want to avoid traffic from other countries and want from US then you can do customisation in your Google Adsense account settings.

from my opinion, visitors doesn't affect ranking..
if your getting traffice why you want to block them??

;) it does affect seo, and if the one visiting is Putin himself then your site gna b nuked out of goole

Russian traffic doesn't penalize you.

The reason why the Adsense earnings are low is because they value foreign traffic less, and they give you less CPC than you would from getting clicks from US/UK.

That would be racist of Google.

yeah, google penalise you for russian traffic and if you get traffic from Mars then it's double penalty for you... so be careful ;)

How told you this OP ? There is nothing like if you got visitors from Russia than your ranking will be poor, Try to monetize them instead of asking these kinds of things.

. Presently I have problem with high percentage of Russian visits.

The cause of your low Adsense conversion rate is not because of the location of your visitors (at least, not the way you think it is), but it is also caused by a variety of factors. For example:

  • Your traffic is clearly untargeted, so you may want to go back to your website and assess the cause of your untargeted traffic.
  • You may have too many or too few ads
  • Your ads may not be responsive
  • Your ads may not be appearing
  • Your visitors are using Adblock
  • Your ads may be poorly placed
  • Your niche may be low-paying

Do more seo to target higher tier nations and monetize the russian traffic. Unless your doing a video hosting site than its pretty pointless to block low tier traffic.

You might need to do onsite optimization mate... it will help with conversions. Heatmap is a good place to start mate.

From my opinion: no. Visitors affect ranking by clicking G-Results. But alien-clicking results are not bad... :-)

Visitors can affect SEO since this behavioral factors targeted by the search engines. Russian traffic is not very good because of the mentality

Check your referral from which link are they coming. If any thing bad then stop them

Russian Traffic is still traffic, unless the cost of the traffic outweighs the money gained from it then its pointless to block

I hardly think google will penalize you for getting Russian visitors. Lol

According to Matt Cutts and the Google ToS, what Best Buy did would be considered ?manipulating the search results? and should subject them to a penalty.

All people can ask for is a level playing field. The deck is stacked heavily in favour of a Best Buy and other large companies because of their reach and resources, but when they actively manipulate results to the detriment of ?quality information? this is where Google needs to step in.

Punishing niche marketers for delivering ?low quality? information and then letting big brands decimate them when they deliver great information just isn?t wrong, it?s evil.
