I will begin by making clear that many of the statements made above have either been taken out of context or are completely made up. For instance "also that a competitor could be negative SEOing him" - this is a complete lie, what I actually asked was a question not about myself but with regards to what would happen in the event of a website having negative SEO targeted at it, this may seem as though I was asking about my site or insinuating this is what happened to my site, but this is not the case. Also another lie is that "He wanted to install like jacker" - No I did not! Stop twisting questions which were mere curiosity. At no point did I ever say I want to or I'm going to, I was asking your opinion which I received. Surely that's not hard to grasp? Regarding the script he wanted me to install, he did mention it vaguely but never asserted the need access my site and certainly never requested log in details.

Regarding the bad/negative SEO I had previously purchased elsewhere, I stipulated from the beginning that this was the case and made it very clear that this may pose a problem, but this didn't seem to phase him. It may be the case that this problem grew due to indexing but still I always made it clear that I had purchased bad links before I took up his services.

"I received an email from him calling me a common thief" This was well over two weeks of absolutely no contact, so I had to assume you were ignoring me. This is also after considerable efforts to communicate with you through BHW admins which was on/off. In fact I think a major flaw on your part was your dire communication as much of what you have stated above was never expressed to me at all. Instead you ignored my emails and instead sent a vague message every few weeks which was perceived by myself as unprofessional and at times juvenile.

Anyway lets not debate what happened in between. This isn't about whether I was "delusional" (which if you truly believed, why communicate/take by money to begin with?) or any other emotive nonsense, this is a simple matter of the services paid for not being completed in full. Not a single report was ever sent to me, as was agreed in the beginning, you can't deny this?

As a parting note - I would definitely say I believe I have been manipulated in some way. I was led to believe I would gain something from the services, yet I gained nothing but frustration, grief and now animosity.

Do you both agree on resolving this with a full refund?

"Do you both agree on resolving this with a full refund?" - Yes.

I'll give him this one I probably misread it this morning.

I was going to refund him just to get him out of my hair until he got all abusive and threatening so quite frankly no.
I don't work for free.

Please provide me with the following information:

  • What were the exact deliverables of your agreement (assuming it was not a generic "take care of my SEO" deal - if it was such, please state so)?
  • When was the deal closed?
  • Where the links bought before or after your agreement?

I have received the contract via PM, that answers the first 2 questions and its terms make the 3rd one irrelevant.

I am copy/pasting the deliverables here:

• Researching keywords and phrases to select appropriate, relevant search terms (up to 10 phrases).
• Obtaining "back links" from other related websites and directories in order to generate link popularity and traffic (up to unlimited backlinks).
• Editing and/or optimization of text for various html tags, meta data, page titles, and page text as necessary (up to 20 pages).
• Analysis and recommendations on optimal website structure, navigation, code, etc. for best SEO purposes.
• Recommend, as required, additional web pages or content for the purpose of "catching" keyword/phrase searches.
• Create traffic and ranking reports for **removed** and any associated pages showing rankings in the major search engines.

I would like to know which deliverables have been fulfilled during the 2 paid months, and which not.

I now can't respond to whatever he posted as he failed to remove my personal information. And in response to which services were delivered? From the evidence- None! There were no reports to show any work had taken place e.g. backlink building and there was no access requested to my website, so therefore pretty much all of the rest were unachievable. There were no traffic and ranking reports either.

There was no abuse either, what abuse? Calling you a thief? If you take someone's money for a service and don't complete that service, what are you doing other than theft? I certainly didn't pay you for much if I paid you for any of this "work" you speak of.

As of the deliverables.
  1. From the list of keywords supplied to me by the Op these were narrowed down to a reasonable number and achievable keywords. (Agreed with Op).
  2. Possible contextual links identified and tier profiles created using Licorne AIO.
  3. I at no time had back end access to the site, client informed me he was using Yoast and was handling that.
  4. As above.
  5. Client advised of ping list and addition keyword targets.
  6. Client advised of google position for keyword traffic analysis via analytics.
In addition high PR links created to inner post for pressure test. (Link list sent to Jazzc via PM).
I am clearly in confusion as what the Op wants to achieve with his site.
I was working under the impression that the Op wanted a stable website that would gradually rise through the ranks but it is becoming clear
he is only interested in links.
If this is the case why did he contract me to SEO his site and not just continue to throw spam blog comments at it so it could be penalised into oblivion. This website still has 680 odd critical links pointed at it and if left alone he may as well say goodbye to it. At one time I suggested
to him it would be far easier to change the domain and start again.

So far I have done a little SEO ? nothing at all major. So far I have had 500 unique visitors to the site. I have also created a twitter and facebook page and have had many social signals and a few posts on blogger accounts. Anyhow this website is virtually the same as mine ? **************if I can get it at or beyond this standard of ranking then that would be good, as they recently flipped it for a price I would be happy with.
Anyway regarding keywords, they include:
best beauty tips, online fashion magazine, latest fashion trends, street style, bra choice, how to choose the right bra, how to get fuller lips, Winter Skin Care, Anti Aging Skin Care, golden globes 2014, Winter makeup, hairstyles for your face shape, victoria beckham clothing, frizzy hair, valentines day outfit, last minute gift ideas, Cara Delevingne, everyday natural makeup, clip on hair extensions, what to wear with skinny jeans, haircolors for your skin tone, White Blazers, dress for wedding guest, slimming dresses, do it yourself fashion, Applying Eye Makeup, 2014 fashion trends, womens accessories, frugal living, Winter Fashion, britney spears' vegas magazine.
I use yoast at the moment for SEO on each page/article.
Anyway please let me know your thoughts, opinions and expectations for the sites traffic over a time period if you were to work on it. Also the cost ? as little as possible thanks lol
Above you will see the date the Op started the website. At no time was there any mention of the blog comments he had thrown at his site before the agreement. Throwing 17000 spam blog comments at a site that you want longevity for within a month of it being built is absolute madness.
I work on the concept of a solid foundation unless you are looking churn and burn. The Op must realise bad links can not be eradicated overnight. Firstly there is the wait for them all to index, then see which ones die of their own accord contacting webmasters to ask for links to be removed, waiting for them to respond, seeing what you are left with and considering disavowing those. All this without alerting the google to the bad links so not to incur immediate penalisation.
It would be fantastic if all this could be done at no cost with the click of a mouse but it can't and peoples time costs money.

As you know we did communicate on google talk as well as email.

"I was working under the impression that the Op wanted a stable website that would gradually rise through the ranks but it is becoming clear he is only interested in links." I have already stated that I had sourced previous link building before I even communicated with you, I was not only interested in building links, however people lie and a lot of junk links were created and gradually indexed. That isn't the issue anyway, these are diversions from the matter at hand. The fact is that I notified you of what had gone on link building wise.

"Hi xxxxx,
I'm available to chat most days, just let me know a time if possible.
I haven't ordered any services since I made arrangements with yourself, so you must be right about them just being indexed"

@JadMac: Please focus on answering my questions specifically.

a) Did you opt to using Yoast instead of oxonbeef 's service for deliverables (3) & (4)?
b) Were you advised and agreed on analytics instead of reports for deliverable (6)?
