I will most likely need to get a VPS in 3days for use with Scrapebox and TweetAttacks (solving THIS problem) and this one from PriTell looks almost too good to be true.
Its a Dedicated VPS with the following specs for $35/month...

CPU...AMD Phenom 2 x2 CPU @ 3.3GHZ
RAM...2gig
Storage...320GIG
OS...Linux or Windows
IP...1 IP
Bandwidth...Unmetered
Backups...Weekly
Price...$35.00

I have seen a few good reviews on several other forums mostly bragging about how good the customer service is and the only complaints I have seen have mostly been the users own fault.
This really seems like it could be a steal if its all its cracked up to be. I mean its double the specs of the shared servers at XsServer for the same price and its dedicated!
Does anyone have experience with them? Care to shed some light?

UPDATE: I promptly received this Email response from PriTell which sheds some light on the above.

You need a key for ws2008 r2 standard. Yes you can start off with teh 180 trial. Any anti-virus will work. A lot of the time you have to buy te expensive corporate version in order to install AV on a server OS. The windows server firewall works well. You can use scrapebox but scapebox is very bandwidth intensive. If you are consuming large amounts of bandwidth we will slow down your speed. The dedicated servers have a 100/mbs connection. As far as a guide. If you are wanting a windows server, you simply connect to it via RDP and use it the exact same way you would use your computer at home.. there is difference:) Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Since Heavy Scrapebox blasting is my primary intention with this VPS I have determined PriTell is not the best solution for my needs, however they may provide a fantastic solution for someone looking to do something else with there dedicated VPS, which is why I have updated this thread.

I'm doing some heavy scrapebox blasting with pritell with no problems and their customer service is excellent. You can use RDP,Teamviewer or your remote desktop to access.

How about the License for W2008?

Can you advise on it and where should we obtain one (besides obvious solutions?)

Regards,
Mr.Profit

Look into MSDN packages for small businesses

There's no such thing as a "dedicated VPS." Either it's a standalone dedicated server, or it's a shared VPS where you're sharing resources with other users on the same machine in some fashion (VPS = VIRTUAL Private Server ie you are renting a virtual machine from them).

This thread stinks of a shill post.

Hi guys,
the offer of pritell sounds very good except the Windows license ;-(

But has anyone experience with this both below?
Both offers sounding good to me in specially, 1Gbps / Netherland / unmetered

fatpighost

Are you using shared or dedicated server space? which plan are you on?

ive been using them just a 512mb and it does go down rarely and its not that fast of a connection, but for the price im not complaining!

I'm using the shared server and using their basic plan, and using windows xp.
Due to a death in the family, they might not return emails or get you setup until after Sept. 1st, that is possibly why their site was down.

LMAO, it's been more than 4 days and I haven't received my IP address, so I can't use it. That's what I call a bullshit service. After all, you get what you pay for I guess

I'm using their vps and I can't complain about the customer service - just use the live chat, even if it's off line and they get back to you fairly quickly.
The speed is not great, but the price is. I use it as training wheels atm before jumping on a dedi when I'm ready.

P.S. don't get it if you are not willing to do some checking yourself, it's not a Hilton, but no bed bugs either.

MSDN - its nice - company pays for it, but I use the shit out of it :)

this is a vps afterall so the hardware means little...

there was tons of sales on black friday 50% off on alot of hosting companies
