[Testing] Trying to rank Reddit threads using backlinks

UPDATE

We ranked a few more threads in different niches which holds our testing so far.

The existing threads we ranked a month ago are still going strong and ranking.

The VPN thread was removed by mods of the sub. Guess they caught on lol
could you send me a message i can't pm i have a question for you

I know this thread is not as active now, but great job! If you don't mind me asking, how many comments/upvotes on average did you sent to those posts?

I know I've been radio silent but I've been doing soo many tests on Reddit on the best way to rank threads. And I can confidently say I've cracked the main reason which Google uses to rank threads.

  1. The #1 reason when it comes to ranking a thread (and I know this will sound cliche) is the amount of engagement it has. This includes both upvotes and comments. But the more weightage is given to comments.
  2. Now my main problem was adding all these comments and I virtually used all Reddit SMM panels but all of them had new accounts and they were a headache in itself. Comments not going through, comments that did go through were collapsed, etc. People that have done this know what I'm talking about.

  3. For this, we developed our own platform for posting comments and threads from high karma and old accs. Dont know if I'm allowed to share it here or not.

What Surprised Me the Most!

We've posted 10 threads in the past month or so and have had tremendous results. Out of these 10, we were able to rank 8 of them. And no, the keywords we targeted weren't low difficulty. These were in one of the most competitive niches such as legal, finance, CRM, VPN, crypto, etc.

Now, here's the thing that surprised me the most. We didn't build backlinks on any of these 10 threads. Not even a single one. It was all pure engagement and using good established accounts.

And most of the threads ranked within a week of posting them!!

Final Results

Here are the screenshots of some of the threads we ranked:

If anyone wants to know which threads and keywords these were, I'm happy to share in private.

I think with this strategy, we can easily rank a Reddit thread for ANY keyword on Google.
Hope all this helped and was a useful case study

interesting, sent you a pm, i want to know which threads and keywords

Great insight sent you a PM, would like to know the threads and keywords. Thanks.

How do you automatically post comment from Old accounts and good karma accounts?

Interesting case study. Have you noticed whether CTR manipulation has any lasting effect on Reddit threads, or is it more of a temporary push? Also curious if you’ve tested mixing branded anchor backlinks vs generic ones.

Yes, CTR manipulation does help with ranking

Is it important that we put it in big subreddit or we can make our own subreddit and rank it that way?
