Since Instagram f*cked up Socialblade and other similar tools I’m wondering if anyone have found a workaround to how to track the simplest data such as daily followers growth? There was a Medium post from a guy who made a script for Google Sheets but it no longer works. He is trying to fix it...

As you all probably know due to recent policy changes on facebook, social Blade doesn't work anymore for Instagram. Is there an alternative? Any help is much appreciated!

How can a Website like socialblade, provide a livestatistic, which updates every second? I think it would have to make many many many calls to instagram, to get the actual followercount. And I don't think, that Instagram would be happy with so manny calls. So how do they do it?
