monetized adsense account

hiio if i buy a monetized youtube channel . if he unlinks his google adsense from it and gives me the channel only . will i have to apply to monetization over again ? or it remains monetized ? and can i link my own google adsense or it ll get rejected / please lmk thank youuuu
