expired headers

Does any one know how to get Expired Headers to work in Wordpress? I have added several codes to the .htaccess file on bluehost and when I run the test through GTMetrix, there is no change. Is there a special plugin or code that will work? I also have a Divi theme. Thanks for your responses.
