btc fees

Hi, I need to send $9 worth of BTC so I tried to buy from an exchange using my card and there is no fees for buyers which is awesome but I see the sending to another wallet takes 0.0005 BTC which is $5. Is there any way I can avoid sending fees? Thank you.
