amazon route 53

hi trying to get that ses account with high sending limit ))) so would it affect the verification process if the domain bought and registered through Amazon Route 53 then connected to the ses account to get that sending limit verification or it doesn't matter where i get the domain from ?

Hello, I am wondering how does Amazon route 53 deal with DDos attacks? Does it provides protections as Cloud Flare does? Because it seems lots of big sites are using it also, any good video or tutorial to learn how to set it up? Trying to search for it but did not find anything useful...
