I'm interested in the financial vertical of affiliate programs. I found the zulutrade affiliate program. In general, I consider affiliate program options from forex brokers and binary options as well, but when I choose an offer I'm always oriented in the company's product. I know this is not necessary ;) But it is always easier to promote a quality product. I've checked trading offers and seems, that many brokers have not quite transparent affiliate program conditions. What I like in zulu - payroll commission system. Size of commission basically depends on trading volume. For those who are not aware - some brokers calculate the commission from net income (but we all understand how easy it is to fake the indicators of net incomes - easiest thing). Or even worst-case scenario - from the size of wiped out funds, bad Karma and I don’t want this... But zulutrade provides an opportunity to work with revshare and this is a new experience for me. I have a lot of questions, but I would like to start with the most important. Does anyone work already with zulutrade or maybe could suggest what I should pay attention to? Also if you think that there are other similar affiliate programs with good terms and conditions - I will be happy to hear the recommendations.

I don't see any problems in brokers' affiliate programs. The fact, that they can be not quite honest - is true. But you can say so about whole forex industry. It is important here to make small steps. Bring X leads during the first month, check how they make payments. Increase the volume of traffic for the offer, if everything is ok you have the profit. Of course, it is more complicated with revshare as the effect can be reached only in a few months. So you should be ready to have losses for some time.

Forex industry, of course, is not the so nice and friendly vertical. But the same I can say about the weight loss, dietary supplements and other nutra. And there is also a question of what is better and worse. I understand the revshare and payback period. But it's hard to make the prediction without any conversion rates, account lifecycle and so on. That is why that would be interesting to know at least something in advanced.

I got curious. This is what I managed to dig up from the official website.
1. From demo account to real 10% leads will be converted
2. Clients lifetime is on average 2 years

I didn't find any other information about the numbers. I got a question about the conversion into real account. I mean that the clients are converted in the first month after the registration or during the whole period of account living. If it happens during the first month, then these indicators seem to be pretty high. In case of the second option - that would be also not bad, as in any case according to revshare you need to make long-term planning.

Great question. Thanks. I will try to clarify it with support. Maybe even try to check on zulutrade forum. I saw the section dedicated to the affiliate program.

I checked the information. It turns out that the cookies life period is more than 30 days. This is more than enough for a refferal to switch the demo account into live.
Support confirmed, that the average life cycle of a client is around two years. This is reached by the means of Zulutrade's number of features, which protect the deposit from the wiping it out. Like zuluguard.

What is zuluguard? I hear about such a feature for the first time...

I was trying to find out more about the zulutrade affiliate program rather than about this zuluguard feature. In short, this is a risk management tool. There is a set of parameters, which are set manually. These parameters control the traders, from which you copy the deals. If a trader makes something risky and you are not ready for such risks, then zuluguard will close the deals or even change the trader. Indeed this is like stop loss/take profit, but more sophisticated trick ;)

Clear. Such old school guys like me are not aware of such tricks. I used to good old MT4. I would recommend you to check their copytrade service on your own, before joining the affiliate program. Only this way you can understand to what extent you keen on promoting this product. All the details you've mentioned are good. But personally, I'm making a choice based on the product. If the product is good, it means it will be easy to promote it.

Certainly, this is very important. Usually, I'm doing this if I tentatively like everything. That's why I'm trying to figure this out. I feel, that I'm already close to testing their copytrade service on my own and maybe join zulutrade affiliate program and run some testing campaigns.

I have never dealt before with the financial vertical. Could you please explain what for the commission is being paid here?

I can tell only exactly about zulutrade affiliate program. I didn’t make do a detailed evaluation of other affiliate programs.
The size of the commission depends on the referrals trading volume. It vary from 6$/lot up to 10$/lot (depends on the broker your referral opened an account with and your tier).

I don’t think you should go too deep into the terminology. I will keep it short.
A lot is a measuring unit of the trading volume. Trading volume is a total turnout from the completed deals taken for a certain period of time. For you as a partner, the main thing is just to know that more deals trader opened – the bigger is his trading volume. And the commission directly depends on it. Anyway, you won’t be able to influence the volume as every trader/investor picks up his own strategy. That is why it is better to be concentrated on the acquisition of the new clients under your referral ID.

Oh, ok then…I was thinking that I have to dig into all these traders’ things in order to promote zulutrade properly. But if this is not necessary then I can perfectly well work with it.

Entered personal trader's account area. Didn't find a section with the recommended landing pages. I didn't find or it doesn't exist?

There is no such a section in zulutrade affiliate program. And why do you need it for? There is no general landing pages. All the general pages come as a rule with average or low conversion rate, and this is obvious as everybody uses them.

Yes, Zumi tells it right. I would also add that general landings are evil. You need to test everything by yourself. When I was starting with affiliate marketing I would use those general landings. But now when I see in affiliate’s account recommended options of the landing pages for me it is a sign to make my landing differently. Maybe default landings can work out in some cases, but my job as a partner – to spend as little money on advertisement and to get as much partner’s commission. And in this case, you need to use your head and keep in mind that no one is going to make you a great website to promote any offer. Otherwise, why does the company even need to acquire the partners? They could do everything by themselves if it would be that easy.
Personally, I think if there is no option to choose the promo site for the affiliate program – this is an advantage, not a disadvantage. Filter out the affiliates who cannot do it personally. And it means they didn’t get the specifics of this job yet.

Take it easy, guys;) I was just thinking to read something about the advantages the company offers based on the examples of landing pages.

As for the advantages, it's pretty simple. You just enter the official website of zulutrade , and here you are - the information is placed right on the home page, including the advantages :) The same way you can check the zulutrade affiliate program advantages.
As for me, I've singled out the following benefits for myself (concerning the service as such, not the affiliate program):
1. A fine ranking system, owing to which a referred investor can immediately see the best traders in whom they can invest.
2. Transparency of information, i.e. all the charts and trading records are available for your review. Moreover, you can contact the trader and ask him for any additional info if needed.
3. Great numbers of supported brokers. there is a certain group of brokers with whom ZuluTrade has got an additional agreement, according to which a client doesn't pay any additional commission fees if he trades with one of these brokers. The affiliate, in turn, gets more commission fee:) The clients don't need to know that though ;)
