Zuck said AI killed coding

He has being saying too many shit lately, this is another one

nah, he's close to spot on. "mid-level engineers" think menu designs and stuff. send user browsing behavior to 4o and give it to rewrite the user's navigation menu to their interests then dynamically display that to the user. That's what he's talking about.

This doesn't really get fun until we have red team defending agents vs blue team cracking agents doing battle on our LAMP stacks.

I feel bad for people who believe their coding will make sense in 5 years from now.

You can be the best coder on planet earth and AI will be in the same line as you, just x1000 faster.

My old friend told me a truth long time ago. He is a master degree engineer, a super smart guy.

This he told: bro, idea is everything. There will always be someone or something to do the job.

He was so right. I knew it right away. It's the sound of truth.

You guys live in some kind of dreamland, but good for you.

A 'coder peasant' with AI manual to control will destroy any tier of coder. It's matter of time.

Why would you have a job and a salary, or be a freelancer, when AI agency can guarantee faster and better results?

You think that some business owner will give you the money? You got few more years to take it.

If AI stop working, they will repair it like a fridge.

Edit:

Of course, not everyone will lose jobs.

Smart people will always be respected.

A small portion will even progress further, because they're not burned out like old coders are.

It's an opportunity for someone to grow.

ngl i can absolutely seeing this killing so many jobs and the industry as a whole. You're already seeing the effects everywhere in the US.

We all must go back to agricultural society ;^)

Jensen Huang said the same thing, as much as I don't like Zuckenberg he could be right on this one, but its not like it's the only profession that's in risk to be replaced by AI

Both are dishonest and serial liers. Don't trust what they say.
Joe Rogan needs go back to smoking ahowaska.
Also zuk needs haircut badly.

I was going to reply to this thread but then I saw how low iq the responses were so I wont bother.

Let's put them aside, don't you think from your point of view that's possible with such a dynamic tool?

I mean that's really not better input, just coming here and shitting on everyone without really adding any insights or value

no one was shit on. Please dont embarrass yourself more by inventing a situation where you're a victim. Blocked!

I'm not being a victim, you're a part of a community here where people express their opinions. Coming to a thread just to say the comments are low Iq without actually giving one that's relevant to the subject, you're just bringing people down for no reason..

AI made coding much more accessible now also
Precisely this. I had a family member that didn't know shyte about coding, and with a bit back and forth with chatGPT, she did a live website in a few days

Same thing i did, usually i outsource developers even for the smallest things. I used chatgpt to build myself a telegram repurposing script. It took me 4 hrs though for something that i got quoted 450$.

with chatgpt coding is a commodity. Before it was a skill.
