Apparently, Zuck and his team just stole most TikTok features and branded it as "Instagram Reels".

I guess he's acting ahead incase TikTok gets banned?

Well, the reason Instagram is still big as I was 5 + years is that it stays relevant. You have to stay relevant.

As you can see that Chinese people are not the only ones who copy but I guess the reason why Zucc love to copy platforms it's for the sake of banning people.

They did this with snapchat and succeeded, but unless instagram finds a way to make the discoverability the same as tiktok ie have a similar "for you page" instead of just showing people who are already famous like it currently does I dont think tik tok users are going to hop over

Seems like Instagram Reels competes against everything on Instagram (posts, IGTV, stories) on the explore page. There is no unique section on Instagram just for reels right?
Finding hard for Instagram to have a chance unless Tiktok is banned.
