I was having a major headache recently with zp3 and I was excited to test out zp4 and get away from buggy ass zp3. However, once I started zp4 I realized it was about 5 times buggier than zp3. Crashes constantly, won't load, stalls, claims that an instance is running when not and pretty much can't do shit on it.

Now, back to zp3 which is buggy as shit but at least i can run 20 threads on my dedi wahoo.

Which version are you able to cope with if any?

4 is buggier certainly.
It's a real issue. There is a learning curve, and to have scripting noobs not knowing whether they have made a mistake OR if it is a bug.

Currently finding Ubot a better bet, but that's not exactly perfect either.

When I read these threads and people recommending that noobs use Zenno or Ubot to do stuff that a $50 a month tool does I think
Yeah - that's assuming they can get over the learning curve, and past the bugs - and then want to code the number of sites and then want to maintain them... that's a lot if "If's"
No matter what people say there is a learning curve, and the bugs particularly in Zenno confuse the issue. The extras that 4 brings to the table are 100% spoiled by the bugs for me - therefore I use 3.

Love what they do, but making one work around after another...eventually you might come to the conclusion that C++ is a better bet or just using other peoples tools.

I'm actually trying uBot right now and so far so good. It's GUI is so ugly though! Looks circa 1992. I like ZP4 but it's buggy. So right now it's either ZP3 or this ugly, but working, uBot.

Well, the thing with zp3 is it is just less buggier but still buggy. The thing is I am sure they can fix the bugs on zp3 but they are done fixing bugs for zp3 which kinda sucks when zp4 is worse. I liked the speed of zp4 when it wouldnt bug out which is like 20% of the time. So much potential :(

I can see why people love senuke and demon because those programs are stable as hell compared to zp. But, I still the things I do with zp cannot be replicated so it is a major major headache

Any chance for me to know what specific bugs you referred to? Right now its almost impossible to understand what you mean and what the purpose of this thread. Can you give me links to your bug reports on ZL forum? Will check if issues are resolved in unreleased build and let you know :)

You can contact me on skype: rostonix

Thank you.
Anton.

The purpose of this thread was to share my frustrations with others. I have tried contacting you on skype before but you never responded :)

ZP4 - First, Zenno buggs out my server. Stalls, crashes and even says that an instance is running even when it is not. I have to constantly restart my server, just to have the issue happen again and again. I even reinstalled zenno and the entire server to no avail.

Zenno will stall about 70% of the time, especially if I am running a big project that takes longer than an hour, it is 100% guaranteed to stall.

Thanks

Let me know your skype name ;)
Will check.
I am online now)

That's the point - a good one as well.

ZP and Ubot are best doing OTHER stuff. And there is so much OTHER STUFF that can be done.
Copying inexpensive tools and having the headache of keeping them up to date lacks imagination - frankly it's a fecking waste of time.

I've made autoresponders, chat followers, data miners, refer-linkers, alive checkers, forum profile builders (post on 100 forums once or twice a day to build up rep - not here obviously lol)
mass PMers, yes and finding sites and platforms that other tools DON'T ALREADY DO

And yet every numb nuts seems to get these tools and go..

"Now - let's spend the next month copying 1/20th of what a tool like Demon does for $47 a month - and on top of that a day or two every month from then on keeping it up to date"

What a collosal waste of time and effort that is. It's like having a dog and chasing the postman yourself.

Use your imagination. Zenno has done some pretty spectacular stuff for me. So has Ubot. But copying cheap reliable tools that already exist isn't one of them.
