If this is a legit blog, then write stuff people will like and share it on an appropriate Reddit sub.

If this is a spam blog then you need some heavy duty linking.
 
Adding posts by itself won't get you traffic, unless its very low competition keywords. Use social networks to promote it. Get people to read your content.
 
post atleast 3 to 5 unique posts daily ... only 17 posts for 3 months is not a good flow ... :)
 
still there are lot of ways. just to advertising or post it to social media sites.

If you are really serious about blogging then give your first priority to provide useful and intersting contents to the readers. Make new posts regularly. Like you can do it once a day. This will create a numbers of posts on your blog which will get good visitors from Search engines.

Just follow these things-

1- Research low/medium and long tail keywords of the niche you are blogging (Target more than 100 keywords)
2- Make 1 post for 1 keyword. Make the article useful, SEO friendly, Properly optimized for the targeted keyword
3- Blogger provides good options for on-page SEO setup on every posts. So optimize every post for it's targeted keyword
4- Open FB/TWITTER and PININTEREST pages for your blog. Update every post on the pages (You will also get traffic from social media pages)
5- Share your every posts on social media sites. Do it like you are sharing something useful and interesting
6- Build some backlinks from profile pages, blog commenting, social bookmarking etc (You don't need any SEO pro for this)
7- Once Google catch your site you can track your sites traffic graph on webmasters tool and analytics.

Getting a blog set up needs 3-4 months of time. So do the above tasks every day. Make more than 100 posts on your blog. And I am sure you can see the steady traffic to your site from the month of 4 or 5.

Nothing happence overnight in this industry. Keep patience. Keep working. If you have not given up you will definitely taste the GOOGLE TRAFFIC!!!

3 to 5 post a day is too high which involves huge time to write them :D

yes u r right...I have gone thru storypick, scoopwhoop like sites they are writing articles without any base only just for entertaining I should try them too...
 
- write unique contents and publish them. Content should be unique and original (C.S. passed)
- try to get back links from high PR and genuine sites.
- also have some good SEO services if you have good budget.

Later on you can apply for adsense and earn good revenue

I strongly suggest the above points. Content is always king. Try to post valuable posts with much information for readers. If possible try to add some reviews in your posts. Increase followers for your blog. Try to answer for all comments which you get genuinely.
 
You can promote your website on various channels like Directory, Social Bookmarking, Classified ads, Forums, Blog comments and also you can share your links and posts on Social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus and many more!
