hi guys i was curious to know what methods you guys have done to grow your pages. i currently own the page with the same username as here. i recently made a new one since my main page has not been growing very well. my plan was to make use of the invitation method via post likes to grow page #2 to 100k so that i could then merge both pages together. the second page is only visable to the united states, and i was hoping to keep it at that or maybe other places that would be adsense friendly since i am doing this for my website. also curious as to how long you guys think this can be done. my main page is at 128k so after this my page should be at 228k+. after i do i might do this method again if it works out

whats your conversion rate for page invites?
you should not limit countries, as it will prevent the page from going viral, just remove 3rd world ones and ur fine

i invite about 100-300 since its a small page and get back maybe 20-60 i removed the restriction already. im currently at 280 likes 209k reach 190k engagement. i started doing this a when i posted this and only posting once a day. when i get to 1k i will be posting more times a day
 
alright guess ill use this thread to show progress on what im going to try. starting point today 10/9/2016 at 9:20pm.
this is what i will do
  • set preferred page audience to website competitor pages (buzzfeed, college humor, ect)
  • post one video or gallery per day until i hit 1,000.
  • share video/gallery to other pages, maybe groups too
  • use 2-3 accounts to invite users who like the post on the page(if you dont know how to do google "method invite people who like post to like your facebook page imacros" i would link it but im a noob member and can not post links yet)
  • once page hits 1,000 post videos/gallerys 4 times a day (two of each would probs be best)
  • post articles from my website to gain traffic and accustom fans to web linking
  • when page hits 100k or more merge with main page
  • ???
  • profit
  • note: if this does work out for me and the second page grow rapidly i might merge the other way around or keep growing new page to see how far i can get

i will update every now and then. idk cross your fingers for me and hope it doesnt end up a floop
 
first update: i am now reaching 400 likes, my reach is over a quarter million and my engegment is at 150+K. of course this is only the first few days. next week i might get nothing and no likes. ill make my next update when i hit 1k
 
Well its Friday a week since my first post here asking about how people grow their pages. i got over 400 already but im still far from 1,000. it seems people do not like liking pages. Since i started this i must have sent out at least 4,500 invites to like my page, yet only a handful have. I am currently at 660 as of now. Although my page insights look a lot better. 660 likes has a viral video going and i have reached over a million people. now if only i could get them to like the page.

In my experience, posting content from your page into groups works MUCH better than posting content to other fan pages.
One technique that is really hit and miss is to visit a page that is sort of the same topic as you and turn on notifications for when they post something. Then when they post something, make a joke with (using your fan page account, not your profile) related to that particular post. If you deliver it well your comment can become the top comment. Naturally people will click on your page name to check it out if it is top comment.
