Zero selling limit new ebay stealth?? Anyone have this before?

Just made a new ebay stealth. Tried to post a couple times but saved as draft then go 0 selling limit and it says call or take identity verification online! Ok this is the 2nd stealth account that I have had trouble with in the last couple weeks. The first 1 was suspended before I got anything sold. Now this one has 0 selling limit and wants identity verification.

Anyone have this problem before? I have never seen this. I'm thinking my troubles are coming from the Vcc.
Idk if I should just call in and try my luck or just burn this account. This is costing me a lot of money and wasting a lot of time. I'm doing everything correctly. I've made many stealth accounts before but normally not with vcc.

Also I did not verify my paypal with both stealth accounts that had problems. I'm wondering if this has something to do with it but I'v heard a lot of ppl sell with a non verified paypal. I don't want to add bank act. until I'm sure the account can get past the 1st few weeks and I've sold something.

Anyone know a solution to the 0 selling limit?

Maybe I'm paranoid, but I never did virtual anything and I haven't had problems. Real address, real phone, real visa card, real bank acct, etc. I think it may be a new security thing with eBay where they want to you to have a verified Paypal acct first before you sell anything.
 
I usually don't verify my accounts right away so I can assure you that's not the problem (or at least not the only problem).

If you have 0/0 limits, it basically means they're suspicious of you. Something stood out to them in the information you used to sign up with. If you've never had problems before, then yes it could very well be a combination of the VCC and lack of VBA. It's possible for anyone to find out the issuing bank of any card, so you may have bought a VCC whose bank ebay thinks only stealthers would use. Maybe you starting listing your first item too quickly. Or it could be anything really.

If you list your steps when creating an account, we can better help you to see what seems off.
 
I just created a all new stealth attached unverified paypal. I ddin't wait before posting but then I never do and I never had problems before. I went to list an item and boom 0 limits? I've create stealth before but never come across this.

I tried calling in they said I had to speak with limits department I was put on hold forever so hung up. Will try again. Interested in seeing what they ask. Maybe they just want to see if someone calls in. Really want to find out whats causing this. I waste a vpn vcc, a ph# and can't try to sell the item I tried to post so It's really a waste of time and money,.

If anyone has this problem plz post updates.
 
Flash cookies (not regular cookies). Ebay and pp use them to track you.
 
They will try to match the information on file with public records - they won't find anything since it's a stealth account. From there it's up the rep you're talking to. You could be suspended on the spot, asked for a scan of a drivers license, or they could raise your limits to 10/$1000.

Your IP address method, mailing address, and phone are the most common reasons as to why this happens. Your problem most likely lies in doing one of those incorrectly. Listing right away is also something that can raise suspicion. It may be true that you've always done that, but eBay is always changing. And as stealth users, we too have to change to keep up, especially lately. Take a close look at how you make accounts and evaluate each step, but especially pay attention to the 3 things I mentioned above. VPNs are normally a big problem so there's a start. Using a popular one, or even just one that's known to eBay will give you issues.

Hi i got the same thing 0/0 account tonight i used a real common name a real address and a vcc attached to paypal and a tracfone. I heard at first people were saying it was forwarding services to not use them but now i am seeing that might not be it.

Yes it's usually the phone service used, but it also depends on how you create the account overall.

What did you use for your IP (VPN, VPS, tethering, etc)? And did you try to list an item as soon as you created your account?

Dont believe all the stuff you hear, the reason this is happening is because ebay updated there algothrium, so before selling they automatically run information of your account to see your a real person. Just to see if you pull up in the information from a public database. If they cant pull it they put the account at 0/0 until you call. If you need help let me know, I can increase any stealth account limit to 100/$5000 limit, doesnt need to be aged, could be made the same day
 
Account creation method plays a major factor, it isn't only to do with the algorithm. As I said on a previous thread, VCC, working phone are all part of it including the setup method. I have had many that are stealth details that come out with 10/1000 to start.

Methods are everything with eBay!
 
I was getting a lot of accounts with zero limits myself. Got one without out of maybe 10. Trish here showed me a way to make some since and now I got a few with 10 limits thanks to her help.
 
same thing happen to me i use a fictional names does it will work if i use a real person names ?

My two new stealth did the same thing too. Selling limit zero. I verified my paypal, used vcc, new name, new add. But one of the account went through questionares which obviously doesnt match with anything. So any help is appreciated.

Has anyone had any luck opening a stealth account without getting the 0 selling limit? I've pretty much tried everything and no luck. I think ebay ultimate might be right. I think ebays has changed something. I'm making stealth same as always but now i get 0 limit every time.

If someone has had luck would you share your process?
 
I haven't seen a 0 limit account in months. They've all but replaced 0/0 limits with 5/$500 limit accounts. If you still are getting them at this point, then there's a major red flag in your techniques. It's eBay's way of saying they know you're a stealth user (or are doing something extremely suspicious that seems like stealth behavior).

Use a real prepaid phone (not phone forwarding, not Google Voice, not a texting app, etc), use a quality IP address by either changing your home internet's IP or using smartphone tethering or 4G hotspots/dongles (not proxies, not shared/popular VPNs, etc), and pick a random address from a real estate website.

Those methods will solve 99% of your 0/0 limit problems. In the rare event that you still get 0/0 limits despite following that advice then your remaining problem is something minor and easy to fix.
