I have been burning through my current campaigns budget with no results at all.
So far since starting I am at 178 CLICKS, 2,650 Impressions, An AVG CPC at $8.50 (past 2 weeks) with so far a total cost of $1,220.
I've utilized countless keyword tools in order to formulate and properly target my audience.
My company I run these ads for is in the transportation industry. We have a "Quote" box right at the center of the landing page. Enter location, some info, get quote, and book transportation.
However, strangely enough - out of all the individuals that actually land on the page, about 15-25% actually even enter any data.
I got advice from another individual who informed me to update the landing page to have call to actions, easier to see call outs, etc. After doing so I still get little data entry....
To top it off out of those 15-25% that actually enter information about 1/4th of them enter fake emails/phone numbers and the rest do not answer any method of contact.
My ad campaign is targeting consumers to essentially get an instant quote and book with ease. Yet, I get basically nothing. Am I targeting the wrong audience? I have similar wordplay as my competitors who are much larger and have a larger budget.
Do I target a set age group? Gender? Household Income? I've set targeted locations as well - it seems like I am just burning away $$$$$$$$$$$
OUT OF $1,220 we have gotten 0 conversion or sales. 3 individuals we get in contact with. 2 of whom were not even interested in the service - they planned on using it in a year or so and were just curious. The third had already clicked 5 other competitors ads and was chasing the lowest price possible.
Additionally, I monitor IP's and see the same users constantly clicking my ad, exiting, and coming back in on the ad. They do this multiple times throughout the day, sometimes for days. Is it possible that those clicks on my campaign are coming from bots or competitors?
