Zero backlinks in google? 500+ in yahoo!

How the F@CK does yahoo have close to 600 BLs listed and NOTHING under g@@g?

I know google does not display all backlinks, but absolutely NOTHING?!?! what the hell am I doing wrong??

Gotta take it down a few notches man. There is probably nothing you are doing wrong, it is just that if you really want google to display your backlinks, you need to give them a reason. Are you building backlinks to your backlinks? Pinging them? Building RSS fees with them? Anything?

Google has never been accurate for my sites. I just follow YSE and ignore G.

I have same issue with my new site 40 backlinks from some new articles and PR releases showing in yahoo but zero in google

I have some organics that are on very popular sites and I used secondeye's service for 300 BLs as which were supposed to be indexed, bookmarked, and pinged. That was a few months ago. Nothing has shown up yet. just a big fat zero as far as g@@gle is concerned.
I know g@@g won't list all of the backlinks, but I'm confused about the presence of none.

I second that motion, G is always behind for some reason when it comes to looking up backlinks.

and soon there will be zero from yahoo....

i dont focus on that shit.
focus on RANK.
not backlinks, not pr, not shit that doesnt matter.
i went from page 6 to page 1 over the course of 2 months... and guess how many backlinks showed up..ZERO. guess how much my PR went up... ZERO

PR and backlink is different thing. Some site has high traffic but low PR and some site has low traffic but high PR

Yes but I've never heard of a site with high PR and no backlinks. From what I can tell, there is no way to have high PR without any backlinks.

I don't think it is possible to have any PR at all without any backlinks.

Yes, my site already second week hasn't been indexed... some people say their sites are indexed next day...

Google doesn't hasn't listed a site's backlinks for a while -- except in GWMT like mentioned.

Use the free version of seo power suite to get an accurate link count... OR.... market samurai

not true.
good seo and age. i dont think it will get a high pr but if a website is done right and sits there a couple years it can get a pr1 or a pr2

Website is indexed, GWMT shows zero backlinks, yahoo shows a few hundred.
I hate G@@g!

Google dosent like to show backlinks, supposedly so competitors cant reverse engineer your strategy, I have sites that show 1000's of backlinks in yahoo site explorer but very few in google. this is normal. As long as your getting traffic is all good

Interesting thread. I see the same thing on some of my sites. Sod all backlinks on G but plenty on yahoo. Thing is, I don't trust Google at all and don't want to load/register all my sites google webmaster tools.
