Zennoposter Vs. AMR+BMD

Hey all,
I have searched and many of the posts about this are a few months old so I am asking to get updated opinions on this. In particular, I am wondering if the English support for Zennoposter has gotten any better? I am gonna buy myself a new toy for Christmas and I am wondering whether to go with AMR+BMD or Zennoposter. I know Zenno will take me some time to learn, but I have been playing with the demo the past couple of days and I am liking what I am seeing. My understanding is that I could eventually develop templates that could take the place of AMR and BMD, is this correct or just hype? Thanks everyone!

The best zenno support is not with the Russian developers but with the other English users in their forum. I've been able to get a lot done on zenno from the few connections I've made on that forum but you have to be aggressive and ask your questions, tell people if their answer didn't solve your problem and that you still need a solution, etc.

Yes, you can recreate AMR and BMD in zenno but it would be easier to just get those tools if that is exactly what you want to use it for. If you have other ideas, strategies and methods that you want to automate, zenno is pure awesomeness.

Yeah, the thing that I am finding most appealing is that I could use zenno to target pages and do things that the other programs cant really get to. Might make it easier to stay ahead of google . Plus, buying it wouldnt be that much more than AMR and BMD. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I have been playing around with it some more while I wait for scrapebox to do its thing. The more I use this program, the more impressed I am with it. I don't have much of a background in coding or anything like that. So I was expecting to have a lot of problems with it. So far it has been relatively smooth sailing. I am sure that once I get to the advanced portions of what I want to do with it I will need help. Buuuuuuut thats what BHW and the Zenno forums are for :-D. Seriously though, it seems like the things you can do with this are almost endless.

Prepare yourself to learn regex if you wan't to create anything out of the box.

It's pointless using ZP to recreate what AMR does; why reinvent the wheel?

Use ZP to access 2.0's and sites that other submitters can't touch. That's the real power of ZP.

Do you have a link to the new feature set by chance?

Regular Expressions are for children. (find everything before >, find everything after <, specific characters.. I just summed it up in 3 terms.)

Just get Expresso, it's free and it writes the RegEx for you.

They keep it secret. But I know better e-mail verification, maybe .exe compilation + a lot more stuff which they keep secret.

Zenno has said they do not plan on supporting EXE compilation. Which is honestly the reason I never really used it and never was very interested in it.

I don't like HAVING to have it to run MY tool. If somebody else wants to try it, they HAVE to have it, too. That's some Apple bullshit right there. "You want to surf the web? Mac! You want to listen to music? iPod... iPhone... iTunes. Coming soon. iFood!"

So even though UBot is 'plagued' with all of these bugs and riddled with so many inconsistencies.. Which I must have some special Windows version or something, because I'm still trying to hit those brick walls... I prefer it because it's simple, it's effective FOR WHAT IT DOES and I along with anybody else I want can use the tools.

Yeah, the simplicity of Ubot is extremely tempting to me. Honestly, I am so torn between the two at this point. Luckily, I still got 28 days of my Zenno trial and then I am gonna do the two weeks for a dollar trial of Ubot :-D. After that, I should have a little better idea of which one is best for my needs

I think they changed their mind. I'm pretty sure at least .exe compilation will be supported for personal use. Which honestly is good enough for me.

Ubot simple? Compared to Zenno it's not simple at all. Also, it doesn't even support e-mail verification.

............. How is UBot not simple? How much more simple do you want programming to get?

Navigate to a page... right click the name field, "Type Text". Tell it what to type (or where to pull info from). Right click the password field, "Type Text". Right click submit, "click".

Compile exe. And if you have any type of basic understanding of just programming terms like if, then, else.. You can make some VERY cool stuff.

Yeah.. it doesn't support POP3, which sucks. But.. Making a multithreaded e-mail verification bot might take an hour. And a half if you eat a sandwich.

I honestly have always been fascinated with programming and really wanted to learn stuff like delphi, C, .NET and all those other really thick books. But I don't have it in me to sit there programming for hours and hours. I've been waiting for years for a "WYSIWYG" programming language. It seriously is, you have your toolbox on the right with all your commands and functions, you want to SET a variable.. Just drag the "set" command to your script. Name your variable and drag its data source (file, RegEx, page scrape) from the toolbox into the set command.

I've had it for a month and I've made tons of new tools and completely changed my SEO strategy on a couple of different sites.

[edit] EXE compilation for personal use is a dick move, too. If it's for personal use, what's the point of EXE compilation? You already have Zennoposter to run your template, right? UBot actually encourages users to create tools, share them and even profit from them. I've made a couple of handy little bots people requested here on BHW.

Keep on dreaming,they have stated a lot of times that they will NOT let the user compile .exe

However i am also curious what they add in v4,guess only thing we can do is to wait and see what they add.
