Zennoposter failing to open - Anyone else?

Anyone else using zennoposter? I am unable to launch my copy of zennoposter/project maker. It seems like their licensing server is down as I am unable to authenticate at launch. Anyone else having this issue? I did contact zennoposter support but they don’t answer for days sometimes.
 
Have you tried asking in their discussion forum? There are a couple of online users, I've just checked it, for a quick response to your query, I think you should try there.
I got a response from support over night. Thanks for your suggestion
 
I've had issues with it too over the past month intermittently. Maybe their licencing server is under attack or just plain knackered.
It’s still not authorizing this morning. They are telling me to jump through a bunch of hoops to uninstall it and delete every mention of it out of the registry then reinstall. I’m unsure of how any of this would just happen for no apparent reason. Smh

That kinda sounds like a "have you tried turning off and on again" type support response.

I'm sure one of the Zennoposter owners used to be a member here, maybe someone who knows can tag him?

I just got to my desk. It’s only 8:30am here :)

I will update this in an hour or so with an answer.

Ok. So. I was given an updated version of zennoposter by support. I was using version 7.0.0.0 which is what is available for download in the download area. Zennoposter nor project maker have tried to update or notified me about updates. :rolleyes:

I uninstalled, then installed the new version. When I tried to authenticate after install, I was met with a "too many login attempt error." I turned on express vpn and was able to login successfully. No regedit needed.

LOL wtf

I do want to say that support has been replying to me this morning though. I said it takes days to hear from them earlier, and it has in the past, but two of support staff have been responsive this morning.

Glad thats over with for now lol
 
Also thought I should add this for anyone else that may have this issue: My servers IP address was banned for some reason on zennolabs licensing server. I don’t know why. They didn’t say why. But they did confirm it was banned and had to manually unban my servers IP address. Otherwise the same thing would happen if I disconnected from express vpn.
