Hey everyone, around 24hrs ago I started making some videos for YT. These were gamer-related videos and I had no problems uploading them (unlisted) and adding some royalty-free music into them through YT. The problem is, after around 15-20 minutes I get notified that the video has been taken down and my account receives a strike.

So far this has happened with 2 videos for 2 completely different games. The videos are uploaded as Unlisted so nobody has the link or views them. I was hoping to get them online and drip feed some views into them before listing them.. For some reason, YT isn't liking the videos and I can't figure out what could be causing this. I made the videos myself so these weren't just downloaded and reuploaded...

Any suggestions or ideas would be very helpful. Thanks!

Don't put too many keywords is description. Use only 2-3 keywords there. And maybe your ip is blacklisted

Thanks for your post hiatus! I don't think it's a blacklist problem since I haven't done anything on YT in several years (aside from watch).

After doing more reading I think it could be the title/description/tags. My title was practically 90/100 characters, body was around 1600, and tags were around 495/500 characters. The more I looked it seamed like maybe there was some keyword stuffing happening there.. What I've decided to do is drop all of that way down for now. Do you think it would be worth going in and making them longer at a later date once they've sat for a while? Or, would it be best to always keep them short and stay away from the Max. length that YouTube allows?

Are you sure the music that are using are royalty free music? Sometime in some music you have to give credits other wise you can still get in danger.
I had the same issue when I uploaded a video on Facebook and it got down.

Sounds like this is a auto takedown contentID situation.

Game company that habe their content uploaded to the contentID system chooses.whats happens to a video that gets uploaded with their info, block, restrict monetize, list but not monetized, or issue a immediate takedown that might be the case for your videos. But is rare for that to happen it could also be your account is flagged for auto review...

Thank you for the replies everyone! After further testing with a few different games I've appeared to nail down what is causing it.. It seams the issue is with the URL. I can put the links into a comment no problem. However, the minute you try putting a link into the description it gets taken down for "inappropriate content".. I've tried a few different links/domains, but it still happens.

Is anyone aware of changes YouTube has made to putting links in the description? The links don't appear to be blocked as they post/pin in comments just fine. Anyone else experienced this and know a work-around?

You never mentioned that you add links bro.
You said as soon as you upload it gets taken down you failed to mention your spamming links in the description.

Sounds ad if yt has a blacklist on whatever link you are using. If it is an aff link then of course you k now that link is blacklisted.

Try and use a cloaked or tiny link and see if that does the trick...

Your problem is coming from blacklisted keywords and other question how old is your account,is it a PVA.
