Does anyone have an update on jumpstart?

I heard it should be up soon but still nothing.

You mean the program or the forum?
Forum, we are currently recovering the database, it will be ready soon

The software,
has been working for more than a week now, Please contact jspeter asap via email,
[email protected]
and ask for latest version, thanks.

but over the last days the views are slowed down big time...

Its not down. You just need to re-add your videos. The system at the moment can only handle 13, 000 videos (give or take) at one time so when someone adds a video, it boots out the last video in the 13, 000 spot. So basically your video stays in the system for approximately 60 days then gets kicked off. Once I get a little more flow I will upgrade the server to support 20-30k videos at once.

I think it is necesary a function to mass delete videos because it is very slow to delete a big amount of videos... and I think it is necesary a mass uploader...

Now this sucks pop rocks. Now I know why all of my video views from Playinator tanked out at the same time. They were all over 60 days old.

If Ian uses the same service that YT Jumpstart does (which playinator does), then the advertisments I see about having thousands of views "for years" is total bullcrap, and I would have never wasted my money. Totally false advertising.

Not hopping down your throat jspete, but I feel like I was deceived by the dude that runs Playinator. And it does use the same system as YT Jumpstart.

If we're gonna be losing our videos off the system in 60 days, then I would suggest freeing those slots back up. I paid good cash for 99 slots, and I only can now promote 10 videos because the others got kicked off the server to make room for others. If Ian is reading this.

I need a beer. :(

Yes it sucks but I can guarantee if you send me a message or Ian we'll compensate for re-adding completely free. I personally could add more credits to your account if you want, just send me a message at the JumpStart address. Neither of us plan on ripping anyone off, we will definitely work with anyone who purchased the one-time versions prior to the update.

Thanks jspete. I really don't think Ian was ripping me off. But it would have been good to know the limitations of the system first before I made the choice to put down some serious cash for slots that were to be worthless in 60 days.

But, I do want to do something right now (and this will be a great advertisment for you). For those skeptics who do not believe these systems work, when they DO work. These are screen captures of my insight data before and after promotion.

Before promotion

Code:
can't post images without paying $100.00. Screw that
After promotion

Code:
can't post images without paying $100.00. Screw that
Big difference here. So yes, it DOES work. :)

And it's too bad I can't post URLs here without donating almost $100.00 just to show a couple of images. A shame you can't see the images. Oh well. You'll just have to take my word for it. :(

HINT: If you REALLY want to see the pictures to se for yourself

Go to the three Double U's, then a ".", then type in "moonport", add another thing that looks like a period ("."), then type in ORG, then a SLASH, then the word IMAGES, then after another SLASH, type in either "before.jpg" or "after.jpg"

I think this data shows that the systems work, but need to remove the limitation kinks.

jspete you recommend contacting Ian on playinator but he really doesn't reply to emails for support. My older videos have tanked, and the new ones are working, I only now have the explanation from you on this other forum and not a word from Ian on Playinator. In fact I posed as a would be purchaser and asked him about videos tanking, and he said that every 25-35 days YT stops counting unique views, and that it is a YT problem not a playinator problem, which is so so so dishonest of him.

If you can't get a hold of Ian, you can send me a message. Just say you're using Playinator, and I can do whatever I can to help out! I have my JumpStart messages connected to my blackberry so I try and reply fast!

As for lifetime views, as soon as I can afford to power a big server, I will get one and these little issues will be obsolete, but for now, just re-add videos every 2 months and you should be good.

js has a no limit on the video uploads except the daily limit but playinator does have a limit . are you going to scrap the js program for the playinator ? I had no video views above 200 on my js video in the last two days your email put the blame on youtube .

I got a spike in the views, now dropped to under 100 views again in the last 2 days after just having resubmitted them for the nth time.

Don't resubmit unless you are getting no views at all. There is a trend with YT where at least once a week YT just stops counting views, then the next day it goes up, or it calculates it extremely late. Videos stay in the system for at least 2-3 months.

Your statement is partially correct Peter but not entirely correct. To be more specific, for a few weekends now Youtube has had periods where a great deal of non-referrer, off-site referred and embedded plays are not getting counting for 2-3 days. The total impact is being tracked between 80%-90% loss on average. BUT ONLY non-referrer, off-site referred and embedded plays FROM non-logged in users are impacted.

On-site referred plays (from logged-in AND non-logged-in) viewers are counting normally.

Youtube is doing this during their highest bandwidth periods. And while some of the views MIGHT to be getting tallied later, they do not all get tallied.

I just pray this is not a step toward phasing out non-referrer and off-site referred views from non-logged-in viewers.

I hope that is NOT going to happen. It WOULD negatively impact their advertising dollars which is why they have continued to put up with off-site spam.

But, it depends on how much savings they think they can get from knocking out spam. Remember, last year Google made 290,000,000+ in revenue but spent around 400,000,000 in bandwidth. They spent more in bandwidth than they made for the entire year. Their total operating costs were were around 700,000,000 so they lost 400,000,000 last years.

Anything they do to stop spam will help to bring them out of the red and get them closer to making a profit.

That said, lets all pray dont they DONT do this.

there are alot of websties that provide the same service

Pete

I have sent you a couple of emails and have not gotten a response back. i Have a commerical license. I have been getting no views on videos that I submitted yesterday. Should I resubmit those or what should I do.

Thanks

Well, I gotta give a big shoutout of thanks to JSPete and Ian from Plainator for making it right. Now I know what to expect.

And I really wish I could show you guys the statistics from before and after. When the system (either one, take your pick) work, they kick serious ass. In less than 4 months, I am already approaching 1,000,000 total upload views (I started with a total of about 19,000 upload views) with the promoted videos. And a lot of these videos I have in the IVP (Individule Video Partnership) program to make some coin and I will be soon cutting my first $100.00 check from GooTube and Adsense.

So thanks Ian and jspeat! You guys are pivital of my channels success.
