YT greenscreen reaction videos

Hi guys,

Quick question, I recently noticed a lot of green screen "reaction" videos basically of other people's content with a small image of the reviewer's face superimposed on the video.

The reviewers are basically just watching the videos with no voice overs. Is this good enough to get past the reused content policy?

I've been looking into this. The answer seems to be no. There's a guy with about 4 million subs that got demonetized for doing this.
 
Yes im a bit confused too as I have been using yt large to check and it seems like some are monetized and some are not. Also it seems like certain niches like tiktok dances, YT doesnt give that initial push to seed audiences so I wasnt sure if it is because the content was flagged as reused

Reaction greenscreen videos are for lazy ass content makers. Not judging, just spitting truth. One day when youtube clamps down on nonsense, as many creators are complaining about it, you'll be back even further behind than square 1, as you'll be even closer to your death bed, still with no idea that is worth long term gold, except experience with shitty/silly methods.

Go make animation videos. They are by far the easiest for virality and creative flexibility. They only take hard work.
 
Some reaction videos uses content with copuright idk how they can do that
 
I guess you should at least give some own value to it (such as commenting). YouTube is really strict on this unfortunately.
 
no, you need to speak something be your sound in order to be your own impresion and not hide who did it their face and your face.
 
I guess they are using other monetization methods than youtube adsense because I think this content comes in reused content policy.
 
Use your voiceover... And use at least 33% of screen as your your image
 
Maybe is using the remix tool of YouTube

I have no info about it, but it could be strange that YouTube give us a tool for doing that (remix a video adding a green screen overlay of your face) and then penalize you for using it
 
I'm making a similar type of video and even used AI to draw an anime character and put them in a corner (not the whole video). It's almost okay to edit the video a bit, except for videos with a protected ID. But this cannot avoid the owner of the video being able to see it and if they are not satisfied with it, they will complain about copyright.
