Now that YT has made some more subtle changes...specifically no longer showing 'tags' on their videos, thus making such tools as TubeSpy and Youtube Scraper obsolete, my question is...

Does anyone know of a tool, either out there that I don't know about, or on the horizon and soon to be released, that could scrape tags, even though you can see them if you view the page source for whatever video you're watching?

Thanks!

sh**...has it been that long ago!

Thanks for the reply man...much appreciate it!

they are in source, MVB can scrape them

oups, looks like you're right, they're still in the meta keywords tag in source,
and two JSON-encoded strings in the video page's source

but my careful studies will tell you why that's unreliable:
1. the meta keywords tag get length-trimmed past a certain point ("kw1, kw2, kw3, kw... - chopped word with ...")
2. the JSON-encoded strings sometimes appear, sometimes don't, sometimes in a different format and under different script tags
3. the mobile page (m.youtube.com) shows no tags at all
