You've been using Google Indexing API all wrong. Here's why!

How long has this been going? I talked with @Sartre about this and he still does that much every day, and it's performing fine for him.
that's what I've been doing all the time!!!!! drip feed 10 posts every hour. You guys don't read my journey thread LOL. I have 100% indexation rate accross every single site. You know, cause I've sent the blog post I've written @RealDaddy - please don't post it here - self promotion of blogs is not allowed. cheers!

@Alexion I am guessing you used 10 APIs for 10 different websites? Also, did you make 10 different google accounts for each key or did you create 10 different service accounts in the same google account for 10 different API keys?
No, 10 apis for one domain. You can register 10 Projects in GCP per each Google Account. That means 10 service accounts from 10 projects. All added in GSC to allow indexing.

Thanks @Alexion
@Sartre does it mean that we don't need indexing services anymore? :)
No, you got it all wrong. He's sending 10 posts per hour to the indexing API. Which indeed, is much better.

The issue was, when you send a big batch of 100 URLs to rankmath API, at least in my case, and I've seen it numerous times, some links get lost because of the requests rankmath makes.

Don't worry, I will not share free gems here :D

exactly. If you even use only 1 API acc per site, you can do 200 posts daily * 365 days, that's ~70k articles/year. Run 10 automated sites - not bad at all.

Another excellent and useful post from you. Thanks for sharing. I wish you a lot of luck and that you get a new on-grid inverter as soon as possible.

I think submit to rankmath indexer it's same way like we are submit to g analytic but idk why not 100% link submitted it's being indexed, thanks for the share btw

from last 3 days there is notification from google that’s it’s going an update so it’s not be able to accept new validation requests. So I stopped api for sometime.. did anybody experienced this ? Should I continue sending links to api or wait till the banner to disappear?F14F9B5A-C79D-4048-8333-1B7B4D935CB9.jpeg

Now, I did some changes.
Created another google profile, created 10 GCP projects, and redid the operation.

This time, I sent only 10 pages / request.
Result?

100% links visited by a crawler. Like clockwork.
Question, please let me know if I'm getting this right. This involves uploading the different key json file to the plugin, everytime?

So it'd be:

Json of project 1 + 10urls -> send request
Json of project 2 + 10urls -> send request

and so on until 100 articles? And then again the following day?

I thought one API for one Google account, do you know any automated way for changing key?

Well, yes and no. Check python scripts that do the same thing RankMath does. It's 5 lines of code, you;'ll learn something new and useful.

Every Google Cloud project account can create 10 Projects. That means 10 APIs.

IMHO you got lucky, or your backlinking profile is good... I also noticed google sometimes does it in waves.. sometimes indexes pages right away, sometimes - in 3-5 days..

i've been using API for months now, and I send it from 10 to 50 links per request.. not really doing any different than if i sent 4-5 links per request...

Ok, sorry about that clickbait title, a small weekend joke.

But seriously, if you are using Indexing API to index stuff in volume(talking about spam blogs, auto blogs, PAA, etc) I just noticed something.
This only applies for people looking to index thousands of pages a day.

Out of laziness, I was submitting 100 links in one go(since it's the max per load) all the time.
I noticed today that if you send 100 links per request, around 40% get lost, or ignored.

I tracked 10 APIs, so that's about 2,000 pages sent to the API.
Around 800 got lost, the crawler never bothered to show up.

Now, I did some changes.
Created another google profile, created 10 GCP projects, and redid the operation.

The problem isn't really with Google, but with the rank math script. When it doesn't get a reply, it resends the request.
This also wastes the number of requests from your daily quota.

So yeah, thought it's worth mentioning.
Trying to spread some karma in the universe, so good things come back to me, as I need a new on grid invertor.
Hello, Alexion. Is there any method to scrape all Google Maps business data by scraping....do you know anything about buffer in google map?

Well, I mainly use Rankmath to rank guest posts people paid. I don't bother with my article in the house because it mostly comes with a Youtube video
