I run account on mobile proxies and am getting this error, but only on certain accounts (not all of them). I've tried to delete cookies and caches and relogin and still get this error. Is this a new form of banning with reddit?

Did you try to change your IP Address?

You should change your environment and IP address together. A bad IP address can have a lot of impact. It may even warn you when you open a web page.

The issue is from the IP address overall, try to replace the proxy if the provider allows it
 
It’s not a new type of ban the issue is the IP itself. Reddit can easily flag bad or overused IP ranges, especially ones that are clearly VPN/proxy or already linked to spam activity.
Even if you clear cookies/cache or relogin, it won’t help if the IP is already “burned.”
Best fix: Switch to a clean, residential/mobile IP that hasn’t been abused.
 
Wiping cookies/cache doesn’t fix it since the flag sits on the account not just the session. It’s more an acc level restriction showing up as login errors.

It might also be related to low quality or prior abused IPs that you’re using.
 
Try switching to a fresh mobile IP and it usually clears.
 
Yeah, sounds like Reddit flagged the proxy range instead of just the account. Clearing cookies won’t always fix that since the IP itself is on their radar. Did you notice if it happens more with certain providers or random across all proxies?
 
That error usually points to Reddit flagging the proxy IP range rather than the account itself. Some accounts might slip through if they haven’t been linked to those flagged IPs yet. Switching to higher quality residential or rotating proxies should fix it.
 
Yes, it’s likely Reddit’s new shadow or device-level ban triggered by flagged proxies.
