Youtube's Dirty Little Secrets

Well in the first place Youtube has their own way in implementing rankings and other stuff. Google owns them now and gives them more priority that other video sites.

You say "now" like it happened recently...it happened 6 years ago...

Youtube Dirty Little Secret #5:

Youtube wants you to be a permanent part of their cute and cozy little community. That's right. Due to recent Youtube "friendly and participatory community" policy changes in the past year or two, you're expected to give up the rest of your life, your main job and interests, ignore the kids, wife and the dog, to sit at a computer 24 hours a day 7 days a week uploading videos, and liking and commenting other people's videos. They want you to a person who is considered "community friendly." That pretty much means you devote your entire life and your first born to Youtube. Then you just might, might, be worthy of having your videos pushed more towards visible areas, where they will ultimately be viewed and generate revenue. If not, your videos don't exist my friend, and neither does your revenue. Needless to say, this is an obvious losing battle for anyone with a life.

Success leaves clues Zephrus. For the difference in the results that people produce comes down to what they've done differenctly from others in the same situation.
