Youtuber - offshore hosting advice please

Hi,

Sorry for the noob question, but...

I am in need of hosting advice. I am from the UK but my target audience is in the US, should I be hosting in the US? if so which company and package do you recommend?

The site is going to be used to interact with my youtube subscribers, kind of like a blog, but I would also like to add my videos to the site.

Bearing in mind I have roughly 100 videos already and upload once a week. Lastly, would the amount of visitors to the site affect which host package to choose? My subs stand at xx,xxx for reference.

Any help would be appreciated.
