Hi all,

I have a question in relation to YouTube.

I have an advertisment video on YouTube which is doing really well in terms of hits. I have listed my website which is now converting sales...however, I wondered if anyone knew of a way I could put my affiliate link into the video? Or is there anywaty of cookie stuffing when they press the play button?

Watermark your video then have that URL redirect to your offer?

A real easy way to watermark is free. Use the Windows Movie Maker which is standard in Windows. Make an intro, an outro and a transparent text throughout the video.
People have to type the link in their browser so the aff.link could be hard to remember. Buy a cheap short domain name and redirect it.

Thanks for the information - much appreciated.

Does anyone know the T&C's at YouTube in terms of placing a TV ad and linking it to my affiliate link? Would I be liable for action from the merchant for using their ad? I'm not too sure on what the policy is as YouTube is full of commercials and then people linking user to their personal websites!!!

Were you originally asking about coding in your affiliate link directly into the video, not watermarking right?
