Youtube Wants Creators to PAY for Views

LOL, what a noob, has he never heard of adwords and feature integration, and arbitrage if you can make it work? I would be happy to pay for views to test things. If I couldn't get them to work, then I wouldn't make a video complaining, I just wouldn't use them. Everyone knows youtube is like a daily outdoor market in the middle east. Has and caters for everyone. No need to complain if people find end up finding this feature useful.

Problem with most of YouTubers. They will praise all day but YouTube takes action against them, it becomes the worst company in the world.
YouTube needs to do that thing stock markets do, give users pretend money, and use it to play the stock market with out risk? Why well when people upload videos to YouTube there's no feedback or way to determine if your efforts require beginner level or god level so a sand box where based on the content the algorithm would assess your videos ratio of success rather this route as a assistance tool.

Halfway to the video, damn! I know Eli The Computer Guy. I used to watch his videos in my childhood. He was a very entertaining guy and a good computer A+ tutor, with great videos.
However, I could guess why his channel went to shit, like in many other channels.
Simply, the times had changed, and the guy was a respectful teacher and nothing more. Well, the algorithm has changed and favors wild shit. Stupid influencers and what everyone else enjoys watching. That's why TikTok is popular.
And about the YouTube promotion feature, that is just Google ads brought over to YouTube, and everyone gets it.
Damn! But it's sad seeing Eli not doing well...

I thought the same, I never watched Eli but I guess there are better channels when it comes to programming nowadays like codewithmosh and that's why he's not getting the attraction he used to get.

Yeah but does that really makes sense? Algorithm and times have changed, but if his channel was already established and algorithm knew that his channel generates a lot of engagement and high retention views, whats the logic behind dropping him if nothing has changed in terms of engagement, that was even on the rise?

I mean when Eli was recording videos, MrBeast did not even record his "Jake Paul, Jake Paul, Jake Paul" video. There was not a vast amount of content and content creators to choose from on the platform like now.
And then there is this: there are trends, and viewers change. Back then, I used to watch valuable content that was just pure education from legit tutors on YouTube, and maybe some entertainment from very well-known established artists and studios.
Well, now these younger generations could watch "Mr. Speed" singing in Portuguese, who is not even a singer! Or they could watch a YouTuber boxing, who is not even a boxer! Or an influencer teaching, who is not even a teacher! And there is a vast amount of content to choose from.
These younger generations would not have the attention span to watch Eli and some older folk tutorials that don't come with the right bells and whistles for them (some form of deceit). They would rather watch fake influencers talking about how to make money fast and things like that...
So, all in all, getting millions of views today does not guarantee you would be getting for life.

i just looked at that eli guy channel, it isnt like this guy presented it at all, how he explained it seemed like the guy had hundreds of thousands of views and then suddenly it all just dropped to few k
i went 8 years back, and while he had some very popular videos, most were like 2-5-10-20k etc
and i see nothing that has changed drastically with his recent videos

It's a person complaining who can't keep up with times. You think big yt pages pay for views? I think it works the opposite way, yt pays them for views.

YT is a platform that can never kill organic reach like FB and Instagram did.
Their whole business model is based on making you spend more time watching videos.
They'll have to keep pushing videos as suggestions that their algorithm thinks will get them more and more watch time which means more impressions to their ads.
The day they kill organic reach, they'll be killing their own business.
People go irrelevant all the time because most of them can't keep up with modern content. Nothing that YT can do about it.

Younger adults, gaming, trending, tutorials, mods, speed runs, technology, attacking each other, memes, parodies, pc hardware, exploits, ego, horror, sports, asmr,
Children, skibidi toilet, cartoons, Minecraft, Roblox, recommendations from sources.
As time goes on so does the quality.
The top 5 traffic generators are:
1 skibidi toilet,
2 Joe Rogan,
3 Space x launch,
4 Anthologies,
5 24/7 live stream
Those are what you want to target why because people in those categories are stupid.

They don't want a click away and reward content that is built on Fear, Curiosity, and Emotion/Desire.
When content creators first priority becomes just clicks, They produce what is in demand which is just stupid content IMO...

Yoy can make good profit by buying views. But here also content is also important. Everything needs marketing today because there is so much competition.
