When a new view is tracked on a YouTube video, is it logged through being a unique IP address who hasn't visited the video before? Or are there more variables in the algorithm.

its done through the viewer not the ip i think but there is a limit of how many views 1 connection can give like in the 300 views freeze case.

I think I agree with them that it comes from the Ip or the cookies itself
