    rt= retention
    plid= playback ID token

    Retention starts from anywhere 1-10. Let's say it starts from 6, then the 2nd request will have rt=16, the 3rd will have rt=26. After 4-5 requests, the increase goes upto 20. So the 4th one may have retention rate of 46, 66 and so on.

    PLID=AAT*************
    I believe the first 3 characters AAT refers to the year which is 2013. Then the 4th character refers to month. It changes every month. It is an alphabet and changes like g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n...... after that comes day and then hour and then the remaining characters are just random.

    i still don't know what it means but your definition makes sense. It can generated randomly.

    I think they will change the way these parameters are generated and they may change the url structure of the requests. Another possibility can be that they may introduce a new parameter. Who knows... Just wait and see what they have for us in the box.

    Really helpful thread, thanks mates !

    I'm looking to understand how the FEXP parameter is generating. It seems to be updated (daily, monthly?). So on each request to the stat server should i grab the new FEXP of the video each day, and use it to send the request ?

    Or should i use always the same FEXP ? I can find anyhting on BHW or the web about this parameter, any help will be welcomed. Thc again.

    I usually grab new requests after every week and then keep using it for like 6-7 days.
