Alright, so i decided to test if Iframes really do increase your YouTube views. So this is what i'm doing:

Got 2 iframes up on a website that i never use. All it has is some text saying 'Thank you for visiting', and below it the 2 iframes. I'm not trying to hide the iframes, as the video i'm using has pretty much no views, so its not going to 'ruin' my reputation.

I have bought 10,000 visitors off someone on this forum, all going to my website.

Visitors are meant to stay on my site for 20-30 seconds, so views should increase.

Anyway, i will keep this thread updated with daily screenshots.

How many views have you thrown at this? All 10,000 already? - Youtube won't count all of the views anyway, but should register 70% - 80%.

The first 300 or so are irrelevant, as you probably know you can get them with just refreshing your page. I'd be interested to see how many and how quickly youtube registers these hits beyond the 300-400 mark. Also what does youtube show as your referrer?

If it's quick i.e. 10,000 in 24hours and close to the full amount then you're onto something good.

    Good luck!

I did this experiment about a month ago. Insight will show it as a referral from the web site the IFRAME is on. My traffic was all organic so it counted essentially everything but if you bought "bot" traffic it might not count everything...

I bought the traffic off a member on this forum. Claimed that it was all unique.

It shows up as a referral from the website the iframe is on.

This method definately works, the views are now at 768. I have put other videos in iframes on the site as well and they are increasing.

So far, it is an amazing method, all though it is old. A lot of people know about it but don't use it, as it costs a lot to send the traffic to your website. It would even help if your website was only getting a couple of hundred unique visitors a day, but would be a lot better if you have a couple of thousand.

I am going to keep testing this out, will update tomorrow with a new screenshot.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I'm the type who likes to see the proof so being able to watch this process as it plays out is great. Hope it works so I can try it.

its pointless, youll get 1000 views per 10,000 sent.

    useless, expensive, and inefficient.

Ok, so for another update. This time i will include traffic stats for the site with the iframes on.

    Website Stats
    http://img521.imageshack.us/i/statstj.jpg/

    Video Stats
    http://img62.imageshack.us/i/videofl.jpg/

So now I can see some really good results. Oh and just to let you all now, I have 2 iframes going to the same video on the site along with other iframes. So that explains why the website stats is less than what there is on the video.

Also, the website is only getting sent a couple of hundred visitors a day, so I will try this experiment again but with a website that will send thousands on one day, then we can see if this method really is worth it.

I'm wondering if you had two iframes for two different videos on the same page, would they each get a view for each visit? Also, any change after putting the iframe on a site with more traffic.
