Question: Is it better to create a new Youtube channel to be pushed more into the algorithm (views + exposure), than to have an older Youtube channel that is completely dead since 2018?
I am currently uploading daily for a few weeks now on an older Youtube channel I have had since 2018, and stopped uploading in the same year. I only recently started uploading again this year (2022) in the same category I was before (music), but I am not getting the same views / push I was being given back in 2018. (Might just be how Youtube has changed over time). I am wondering if there would be a difference in views / being pushed in the algorithm more if I was to create a new Youtube Channel doing the same content I am now.
Another Thought: If I were to set aside some investment to buy views/engagement, on an SMM panel or a trusted source, if that would help 'regain' the life of the 2018 channel.
I'm not sure if this has been answered already, if so please link in replies. I have been searching and reading throughout this forum section, but can't get a definitive answer.
Thanks.
