they have to click the play button, and it's not enough: you need to make sure that the view length exceeds at least half the length of your video if you expect the view count to increase
if your video is sufficiently interesting or viral I could see the junk traffic clicking on it. Its worth a try of one of the small cheap packages to see what happens!
thanks peoples.. Also do you know of any companies like unruly media that pays you for every video that you get someone to watch Posted via Mobile Device
well nowadays youtube is pretty strict on counting external views as par my experience with several views providers. and yes the video must play however there is a trick behind it.
If you want to gain views you can set the video as the default video on ur channel and make it play automatically and send your traffic to your channel instead of video itself.
you can set embedded videos on your site on autoplay but it doesn't matter how you mask the traffic YT is pretty good in seeing where the traffic comes from only a small fraction of the junk traffic would be counted as views
Yeah YouTube has been getting really anal about external views in recent weeks. Even programs like JumpStart are seeing views tank to under 150 a day.
I am experamenting with a site I found the other day http://www.worldhits.info (it's a traffic exchange site) and I entered my newest video link in the exchange. Of course you have to auto surf like a bastard with the free account, (I run it on auto pilot) but I did notice my views went from a stuck 304 to 1600 in about 3 days. So it looks like I may be using worldhits until JSPete from Jumpstart installs the new brain in JS to fix the tanking views problem.
Yup actually you need to play the video in order to get a legit view count lately many methods have died since youtube enhanced their view algorithim remember there is always a way around to any problem no matter how difficult they seem all though i know of one method which can get me 500+ but it cannot be done on auto piolt method else it would be great.
