Youtube Video Won't Monetize. (Under Review) PLEASE HELP!

I really don't know what the problem is. Usually when I hit monetize it works under like 5 minutes or so.
The video has being up a few hours and has got at least 5,000 views. So kinda worried it's not gonna monetize.
This happened before and after 1 week I removed them video and just made a new account and it worked.


I made the account a few ago in advanced just to be safe. And had monetizing set up and ready, just the video has being stuck under review for some time.
Is there something I can do?

Did you try disabling monetization, then re-enable it? That sometimes works for me.

Also, trying checking your e-mail that's associated with your youtube account. They may have sent you an e-mail asking for further verification to prove you own any copyrighted material in your video, or that you own any of it in general.

If this is the first time monetization has taken this long then maybe you should check your video for any copyright audio/video footage, maybe heard or seen in the background. I don't know exactly how YouTube's automated flagging system works but something may have set off a red flag or something so you may have to wait it out until the weekend is over.

Then yeah it's most likely because it's a music video and you need to provide proof that you own the audio and music. Since your on BHW i'm sure you're pushing this video with alternative resources which is good but you need to make sure the video is monetized first...

Be careful because your video is under review and if they detect anything "fishy" as where the views/likes etc are coming from, your video/account will be terminated.

I would suggest uploading another video that's monetized, maybe a vlog or something addressing your "haters" or something without any copyright and video response it to your music video. Maybe from a different channel as well. Just so you can make some type of revenue off this.

But like i said, only if that troll music video was uploaded by you.

EDIT: you obviously aren't buying likes, i just noticed the light saber on your video.

This happened to me awhile back, Didn't Monetise for about a week, So i contacted Customer support, They got back to me fairly quickly and Monetised my video for me.

Like the above poster said, You need to prove all content is your own before Monetising.
