Youtube video ranking higher than my website

So i have been working on ranking my new website for 3 keywords trying to mainly focus on 1. I have been doing senuke/scrapbox/link pyramids/ article pyramids and imbedding my youtube video in them all. So after a few weeks my site went from page 12 to 7 and now back to 11 while my youtube video sits pretty strong on page 4... Any idea whats going on? Is my keyword density to weak on my website? I don't have any outbound links on my website so everything should be stopping there.

Hi nvuss,

It is called the new google penguin panda update. While this update has bitch slapped some older methods that use to work, it has done the opposite for videos. Video results are ranking for more keywords and for all types of keyword tails. In addition to this, google results will be littered with more video results than previously.
