I was just updating my youtube profile when i see a link for "Purchases". Maybe i'm totally out of it, but i've never seen this b4.

are they charging for vids now???

Maybe you mean, purchasing promotion for your video on youtube. It's like AdWords for YouTube.

I see what he is saying about it. I do believe that is for the promotion of a video. Your purchase of the promotion would show up there if I'm not mistaken. They are not charging to upload videos for regular individuals. That would be absurd, and YouTube would go belly up in 30 days, as people would just go someplace else for free.

Yea its so you get your video promoted by YT. If you view a video, next to it is related videos and a new box which is 'promoted videos'. Its just the WH way of getting YT views.

wait really? thats awesome. I mean yea you can get hits by doing promoting yourself but thats work. Depending on how much it costs, you could make some serious money with this.
