youtube video editor/monetization help (CC BY)

so im having this problem with youtube..
i want to make compilations on youtube with youtube's video editor.. when i go to monetize the video it is asking me for commercial-use rights.
well i dont know what to say? the video is under 'creative commons' (CC BY) so im allowed to use it (even commerically... apprently) but it wont let me monetize it? surely youtube should recognise i made it with they video editor and know i dont need commerical rights...

can somebody tell me what i should say to get my video(s) monetized?
....or any alternative methods....
i see a lot of potential in this and ive hit a bump
