Hey guys, thankyou for the amazing advice on the previous thread. I had one more question. How would you drive traffic to a news youtube channel? without paying since im a uni student with literally 0 money. Any suggestions? Thankyou!

Share in social media your channel. For example reddit, facebook, twitter and other forum sites.

Comment in relevant youtube videos and make sure your channel's name is interesting enough to make users click on the channel.

Share social media and also make sure you use very good keywords for your title.

Hello,
maybe you can use some comment bots for it. Many channels doing it for example finding the last 1 day videos and commenting all , like " hello your video is so good , can you check my channel too " or etc.

Have good SEO and use a hot girl in the video and thumbnail if at all possible. Advertise on Facebook groups, subreddits, YouTube comments, etc.

Don't do the whole "check out my channel" commenting method - that doesn't work. A hot girl profile pic does work and commenting relevant stuff everwhere works well. A good channel name is very important to attract the initial views from commenting on YouTube.
