Hey everyone,

I was hoping for some wisdom and advice on how I can get my comments to become top comment on YouTube.

For example my main channel is quite old (5 years), has 1000+ subscribers and some video activity, an active G+ page with a considerable number of followers (mostly fake). I post a comment and reply to it around 30 times making a "fake" discussion, give it something like 40 thumbs up.

My competitor's comments are from a channel that is younger than mine, with barely any subscribers, no uploaded videos. No active G+ page. He posts a couple of comments and gives himself a couple of thumbs up and Voila, he's outranked mine.

I've tried doing this from multiple channels. Can anyone provide some insight on what I must do in order get top comment?

Hope it helps.

Even states:
2. The ranking of YouTube top comments IS NOT affected by any of the following factors:
> How many views your YouTube channel has
> How many subscribers/subscriptions your YouTube channel has
> How many videos you have uploaded to your YouTube channel
> How many people you have or have you in Google+ circles
> How many +1s your Google+ profile/page has

3. The ranking of the Top Comments IS AFFECTED by the following factors:
> Google+ Quality Factor: The MAIN criteria used to determine which comments should go top on YouTube comments is the quality factor of
the commenter's Google+ account, which is determined by how often or how many times the user posts/ has posted on his/her Google+
profile/page, especially those posts which contain links to YouTube videos. NB: This excludes flagged Google+ accounts that have an irregular or
unusually large number of posts which indicates the account is being used for spamming activity. YouTube comments from Google+
accounts with a better quality factor are ranked higher in the Top Comments compared to others with a lower quality factor.

edit: Just copy and paste other top comments and add your stuff to them.

Yes I saw that thread, but it is quite outdated ://

You must work on your top comment account.

How exactly? I already have 1k+ subscribers on that account and I already bought some followers, plus some videos with some views

Numbers matters in youtube top comments.

Bump ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

bump.. need more info about this.. what if we buy like 300 pva youtube accounts.. load them into a bot and just thumbs up a comment under a video.. will this rank the comment to the top?

I'm not sure, I don't think that would work anymore. no one's giving any answers ://

Sorry for bumping but I really would appreciate any pointers..

I'm not too familiar with targeting the Top Comments section on YouTube since I always target new videos for my comments. However, I once read an article that mentions that the Top Comments section on YouTube is "personalised" for each viewer, so you and another YouTuber will see 2 different "Top Comments" sections. Here's an excerpt from the article:
The comments section will also be personalised for each viewer. "You'll see posts at the top of the list from the video's creator, popular personalities, engaged discussions about the video, and people in your Google+ Circles," explains the post, while noting that viewers will still be able to switch back from this "Top Comments" order to a "Newest First" mode.

Assuming this is still applicable, I would take this into consideration.
